Title: Temptation
Rating: Erm, PG-13 I guess. Maybe more later
Pairing: Jonas/Lucy
Disclaimer: Not mine, they're real people with their own lives etc. But damn, they'd be a hot couple.

Authors Note: This is a piece i've been writing for a while, which kind of goes with another fic i'm writing about Jonas and Lucy at the moment. But knowing me and my incapable ways i'll probably never get round to posting that let alone finishing it so I thought i'd post this. It'll probably come in 4 or 5 parts, and i've already written two parts completely and i'm working on the third =]

You don't really need to know much apart from the fact that Lucy had, whilst filming series 1, been going out with a guy that worked on set called Dan. To cut a long story short he started seing someone else behind her back when they arrived back home and Lucy found out and is still pretty upset about the whole thing.

But yeh, I hope you like it =] I love reviews they tend to keep me going, so please do =]

Temptation

Part One

It was the swaying of Lucy’s hips that was driving Jonas mad. He just wanted to grab them, pull her closer to him and press his mouth to hers, an intoxicating kiss that would make her consider him as something else. But of course, he didn’t. Instead, he sat back in the dark with the rest of the cast, drinking beer and slowly drowning himself into a slumber. It aggravated him, this undeniable attraction to Lucy. God knows he’d tried to stop it, they were supposed to be friends after all, but there was something about them that just wasn’t. Well not on his part anyway.

And now she was dancing with Anjali, arms above her head, hips swaying in that oh so attractive way. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. He was hoping to God nobody had noticed.

“Another beer, Jonas?” Richard asked, standing up ready to head to the bar.

“Erm, yeh, let me,” he said, tearing himself away from the swaying hips. “My turn for the rounds.”

Richard nodded in agreement, “Sure, I’ll come and help you.”

They picked their way through the crowds, the drumming rhythm of the music beating loudly throughout the building. It was a new discovery the club, having decided on their second visit to Budapest they should probably venture further than the Irish pub they’d grown to love. It appeared that lots of the other members of the cast and crew had found it a long time ago, as the crowds were threaded with people he knew and recognised, and by the time he’d reached the bar he’d greeted many familiar faces.

“Jonas.” He turned at the bar to see Sophie; one of the young make-up assistants who he’d heard had taken a shine for him. “I didn’t know you came here.”

“I didn’t,” he said honestly, turning back to the bar. “We only just found it.”

She giggled, much to Jonas’ annoyance. It’s not that he didn’t like Sophie, he did, but now he was more occupied with stealing glances at a man, who he was pretty sure was someone from special effects, inching closer and closer to Lucy’s swinging hips. Sophie had to repeat herself twice before she regained his attention.

“Who did you come with?”

He shook his head hard in order to snap himself out of the trance he’d been left in and tried to focus on the girl before him, the blonde hair, blue eyes and long legs. What was wrong with him?

“Oh,” he managed finally, vaguely waving his hand in the direction of their booth in the far corner, before grabbing the bartender’s eye and reeling off a number of orders.

When he’d finished Richard, most probably in an attempt to save him, had captured Sophie in conversation. Relieved, he turned his attention back to Lucy but noticed she’d moved from her spot on the dance floor. He’d just started a more thorough scan of the club when he felt a hand on his arm and turned to see her, hair tumbling in curls around her face, cheeks rosy from dancing.

“Hey,” she said breathlessly, pushing her hair out of face and leaning on the bar. It did strike him in-between taking in her form and paying for the drinks, as to how she’d managed to push through the crowds so quickly, but pushed it to the back of his mind when she spoke again. “Why haven’t you been dancing?”

He shrugged nonchalantly but upon seeing her smile up at him couldn’t help but return one. Lucy had one of those intoxicating smiles, which completely lit up her whole face, making her blue eyes sparkle so beautifully people often found themselves unable not to return it, whatever their mood.

“I’ve been buying you a drink,” he said as an explanation, passing her a vodka and coke.

“Oh, thank you,” she said gratefully, leaning up to kiss his cheek. “I haven’t done any rounds yet, I’ll do the next.”

He smiled slightly resisting the urge to touch his cheek where she’d kissed it, knowing she must have drunk quite a bit. He’d learned from experience that upon consuming alcohol, Lucy was always very affectionate, which she proved moments later by slipping her hand into his.

“I had to escape the clutches of the special effects assistant,” she told him, taking a sip of her drink.

“I saw,” he replied immediately, before wishing he’d have thought before opening his mouth and not of drunk so much.

She cocked an eyebrow at him but didn’t say anything as he took his hand out of hers, picking up some of the drinks and heading over to their seats. She followed, chatting away to Richard and Jonas obviously sat at the other end of the booth away from her. He was secretly pleased when she walked all the way around and slipped in beside him.

“Why so grumpy, Monas?” she teased, prodding him in the ribs, knowing he was ticklish. He didn’t even flinch, just shrugged and took a gulp of his beer.

Puzzlement spread over her features at his cold response and she shot a look at the others who had watched the exchange. Harry shrugged shyly, Keith chuckled and Anjali raised her eyebrows before slipping back into conversation. Even Jonas joined in as if the moment before hadn’t even existed and Lucy made herself dismiss the moment, busying herself by talking with Harry and Anjali.

They were all in the middle of howling in laughter at Joe who was desperately trying to down his pint before Gordon, when the special effects guy from earlier made an appearance and asked Lucy if she wanted to dance.

Taken back and incredibly embarrassed, Jonas watched her turn bright crimson, and looked as if she was wishing the ground to swallow her up. It didn’t, thankfully.

“Oh, um, well not now,” she replied awkwardly after a pause. “I’m sorry Mark, I was just having a rest,” she apologised seeing his face fall. “Maybe later?”

Mark seemed satisfied with that answer and nodded, smiling at her before disappearing.

Lucy let go of her held breath as she watched his retreating back and groaned, burying her head in Jonas’ shoulder much to the table’s amusement.

“Oh poor Lucy-lu,” Joe chuckled, studying his friend’s face as it remerged.

“Is that the guy that was hounding you earlier?” Anjali asked in delight. “Lucy practically ran,” she informed the others, “making a lame excuse to get away, saying she had to talk to Jonas about something.”

“I am not a lame excuse!” Jonas protested, despite remembering how Lucy had appeared so quickly by his side.

“Aww diddums,” Lucy laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Of course you’re not!”

“I am less than convinced,” he muttered to the laughter of his co-stars. “And I bought you a drink!”

“Oh shut up,” she told him kissing him on the cheek, to which he promptly did so. “All better,” Lucy smirked. “Right, I need a wee. Anjali?”

Everyone groaned at Lucy’s confession and she just grinned. Her weak bladder had caused much pain amongst them all, particularly on set where facilities had often been scarce.

“Oh, Lord Almighty, you need to see a doctor about that bladder,” Anjali grumbled.

“Already have,” Lucy sing-songed. “And I’m not going on my own; I don’t like the toilets here.”

“We went ten minutes ago!” Anjali protested. “Take someone else with you.”

“Take Mark,” Joe chipped in cheekily. “I’m sure he’d be more than willing.”

“Very good idea,” Gordon said sarcastically, happily sipping his winning beer that he’d been awarded for beating Joe.  “That won’t give the wrong impression at all.”

“I’m not giving him any ideas,” Lucy replied firmly, then looked at Jonas hopefully, who was trying very hard to ignore her. She prodded him and he groaned.

“Oh, all right I’m coming.”
