I've never been to Melbourne, but it's on my list. How many hours did it take you to drive there (and where did you leave from)?

Well you see, Booktown is actually Clunes, which is a very small town near Ballarat in Western Victoria. I live in Melbourne (in Hawthorn to be specific) so it took us about 2 hours to get there. Originally I am from somewhere further in the country than Ballarat, four hours away from Melbourne, but I moved here for university, thank god. Melbourne far outstretches my hometown in terms of awesomness!!

it's pretty great! I felt like I had predicted the future.. purchasing Jean Rhys on the weekend resulted in their discussion of Wide Sargasso Sea. the same happened in writing class with Graham Greene! bizarre. I want a real life book club!!
