Hot Chipotle Veggie Sausages

My goal here was to get el cheapo Field Roast Mexican Chipotle Sausage style sausages. If you haven't been fortunate enough to try Field Roast vegetarian sausages, I really recommend you try them. I assume that after you make the gluten/yeast mix that you add it to the beans/etc mix, yes?

This was the most insane idea ever, and I love it.

I have to make fifty faux sausages now. I just have to.

My first thought was, "how the heck are you going to case it??"

Never, EVER would I have come up with the foil idea. I love this.

Ouch. Those Field Roast 'sausages' cost us $3.50 down here. You're right though, they're tasty. I still haven't tried the Apple and Sage Roast ones. Mmm.

I think Jackson, MS isn't a hub of veggie commerce - stuff can be high here (or impossible to find sometimes). Moving to Albuquerque next year, where I anticipate better groceries!
