i bought some brtussels yesterday just because i keep hearing how awful thety are, and i wanted to conquer them. you have given me great directiion and i cant wait to try your recipe. yay brussels!

Yum, that sounds awesome. I do asparagus all the time, usually with just some olive oil and sea salt. I'll have to try the brussel sprouts.

btw, if you steam instead of boil, the brussel sprouts will come out nice and green and tender. I hated them as a kid, but as a grown-up, realized that I'd always had them over cooked. Now, both brussel sprouts and asparagus are my favorites.

How do I modify this with frozen brussels? I've had a bag of them for quite some time now...

you could roast them whole, you would just have to increase the time. Or you could steam them with the same ingredients, or defrost them and cook as above. I also like to shred them and saute in olive oil and garlic. If you defrost them this might be the best way to get a decent texture.

Yum. I roast veggies all the time but with a combo of oil and herbs/spices. I'll have to try the lemon juice.
