Films One the one new one this month, Quantum of Solace. Not as good as Casino Royale - it's gone too Bourne for that - but not a bad film nonetheless. And certainly they still seem intent on taking Bond in a different direction than previously; although it won't be clear until the next film whether they revert back to old form

The problem with QoS for me isn't that it was too Bourne, but that it didn't do Bourne very well.

Also, somewhat agreed about Godfather Part 2. We watched them back to back a while ago, and I find it rather baffling that the second one is rated so highly. I think it's cos of the De Niro bits, but while they're good, they also make the film less coherent.
