It's been a bit of a quiet month...

Films: Three this month... Terminator Salvation was silly 'splodey fun, and like it's predecessors it pays to not try to think too much whilst watching. Films: Eight this month!
Deception: Poor thriller with Hugh Jackman and Ewan MacGregor.
Sleuth (2007): Remake of a "classic", should be a blistering two-hander, but the house is the best thing in it.
Cloverfield: Neat concept, but vomit-inducing camerawork and by-the-numbers Godzilla-lite plot.

Films: Three this month: Duplicity, which was rather good, Monsters vs Aliens which was disappointing, and State of Play which was very good.

Bullitt - iconic Sixties cop movie. Steve McQueen on top form.
Surveillance - Dark, violent, ever-so-slightly surreal, twisted, slow-burning and brilliant.
The International - Run of the mill paranoia thriller, enlivened by the presence of Clive Owen.
