Heeeeey Guacamole!

I love Mexican food and our house seems to have an influx of avocados. This means guacamole!

The choppy mashy bit
Take 5 medium sized avocados and mash them up.
Then take a tomato and chop it finely.
Also chop a small onion (either brown or red) up finely. More finely than the tomato.
Take three large cloves of garlic and either chop really, really fine ( Read more... )

Nom nom nom! I love good fresh guacamole. I add a little green chilli (though only a little), and use lime juice instead of lemon.

I leave the garlic out. Raw garlic wasn't agreeing with me.

I generally chop up the tomato and red onion a little chunkier. I cheat with the garlic and keep a jar of minced garlic in the fridge :-D

Also lime juice instead of lemon juice.

My brother sometimes puts fresh herbs on his... Either basil or coriander.

Yes! Nez (and Chris?) thought it was weird that I would put in tomato.

I leave out the garlic and onion, and put in some chilli and cumin, and lime juice if I have any, instead of lemon.

I want some guacamole now. :(
