Peanut butter banana milkshakes made with vegan ice cream. They make me gain weight and I'm not even trying.

Totally better with chocolate - like drinking a Reese's peanut butter cup. Mmm...

I just got over a stomach virus that made me not eat for a few days. When I did start eating again, my stomach had shrunk and I had minimal appetite. I found that fresh juice was a nice, nutrient dense way of eating my veggies without feeling overly full. I would only use that to supplement a regular rounded diet, but for nutrient density, it's hard to beat juicing. Also, if you're going to buy a juicer, spend the $100 or more on an auger style juicer, not the cheap centrifugal style. You'll get more juice out of your fruits and veggies with it.

As much as I love nut butters normally, I found that they made me feel full very quickly, so I would save the nut butter portion of the meal for the very end. Maybe save it for dessert.

I would take your current body weight, multiply it by 18 add 500 to that total and eat that many calories every day.

140# * 18 = 2520 + 500 = 3020 calories

I think that if you weigh more than 170 pounds you multiply it by 24 or something.

Chow down on carbs and protein. Eat like 4-6 small meals a day and eat a meal when you wake up to pee at night.

Force feed yourself even when you are not hungry.

Keep stuffing food down your cake hole and you will gain.

If you have a blender, make a smoothie. Mine look like this -

8 oz soy ice cream
8 oz soy yogurt
8 oz strawberries
8 oz blueberries
1 bananna
8-16oz of soy/rice milk or cranberry juice
3 scoops of veg protein powder mix
wheat germ
big ass scoops of peanut butter

and whatever else I want to throw in..flax seed, hemp seeds, sesame.

Comes out to something like 1,000 calories, 100 grams protein...

*shrug*

Whatever. Just eat.

smoke marijuana.

I am only half-joking.

They've done studies on using marijuana to help people regain their appetite and it works well medicinally.

Other than that, drink smoothies, and add dark greens, avocados, mangos, vitamin-enriched tofu or soymilk (not all in the same smoothie probably, mangos, calcium-enriched orange juice, flax seed oil or powder, maybe get one of those Vega products, those nutrition powders.

In fact, try over at Vegan Body-Building - google them, they have a web-site. They are intent on packing on pounds, so their tips would probably be priceless.

But do consider smoking small amounts of marijuana.

Yeah I joked about it with my friends for a while, but it actually does help, so I think I might have to self-medicate. Kind of silly that I have to resort to using illegal drugs to fix the things that legal ones do to me. :/

And kind of silly that it is illegal; non-weed-user here.

If you don't like the idea of smoking it you could also get some vegan gel caps and swallow it.
