vegan tattoo

I've posted about vegan tattoos before, but too bad. I'd really like my next tattoo to represent my vegan lifestyle. Do you think someone should wait a certain amount of time before getting a vegan tattoo? I've been vegan for over two years (it will be 3 in January). Personally I'm comfortable with it because I highly doubt I will ever stop being

I plan on getting a veganism-themed tattoo when I am old enough to do so without parental consent.

If you believe you are absolutely dedicated, go for it. The closest thing to a concern I see is how sure you are about what exactly the tattoo will be. Think very hard about what you'll want and where you'll want it, because you shouldn't have any regrets.

Well if you get it and you cease being vegan, you at least have a reminder of how you turned your back on your beliefs! I've thought about getting a tattoo for similar reasons after reading posts from apostate veg*ns which scare me because they're veg*n for like 7 years, and I go 'argh! what if I turn back, noooooo!'

I will never understand how someone can avoid eating dead flesh and secretions and menstruation for a long time, and then be able to eat it again. I mean, seriously.

After a few months of being at vegetarian, when I was a kid, the sight and smell of meat made me quiver with disgust. It still does. I know that it always will. A lot of people are...just weak.

i feel like when yr ever at a point of feeling weak and the slightest doubt crosses yr mind, its good to have a ready visual reminder.

Yes that was what I was thinking when I got mine too. It will be a constant reminder for life.

I got mine about 6 months into being vegan.
The timing meant nothing to me, I already knew it was right.
