Anyone try this? I was so happy to finally find it locally after seeing it last month online that I plunked down the $8 without question. I love most of Ammy's products. My top faves are the roasted veggie pocket and the thai tofu with jasmine rice ( Read more... )

Amy's rice crust vegan pizza is probably my favorite frozen vegan pizza. Second only to the no cheese one, as charlesv said. The cheese usually doesn't melt 100%, but that never really bothered me. It's definitely not Sicilian grandmother pizza... let's face it, no frozen pizza is. Take-out is like not going to do the trick, either. In my experience, it's either settle for what you can get or make it from scratch, which I know isn't all that helpful. But I live in the midwest, and there really aren't any vegan friendly pizza places around here.

I really like Amy's vegan cheese pizza, actually. It melts if you put it under the broiler for a few minutes. This is also is the secret to melting Follow Your Heart cheese when it's shredded on a homemade pizza.

I am extremely lucky to have a few local places which offer awesome vegan pizzas that are damn tasty, much better than any other pizza out there. However, I'm not in their delivery area, so if I do want no cheese pizza, I get Papa John's pizza with lots of veggies. It's not nearly as tasty, but it will satisfy my laziness.
