If you're eating a healthy balanced diet and taking a good multivitamin daily (Bodybuilding.com sells Deva vegan multivits at an extremely good price, if you're shopping around), I can't imagine why you might be deficient in specific vitamins. Bloodwork sounds like a good idea - there may be an underlying cause, or your diagnosis may need rethinking.

There's vitamin A in melons too so you could stock up on those. I have some vitamins that are supposed to be especailly for vegans/vegitarians. They seem to work, you could probably find them at your local health store.

unfortunately, melon is the only fruit i don't like. :-/ maybe that's what got me in this mess in the first place. thanks for the vitamin tip.

You sure they're not an allergic reaction? During the pollen season here I get bumps on my corneas from all the allergens...

well.... i'm just going by what the doctor told me. i've never had allergies before, though i guess it could happen, but i'm going to trust the doc on this one.
