My supervisor is ordering lunch for everyone on Friday from Baja Fresh. She is being really considerate of my veganism, and asked me to specifically tell her what I want from there, so that I'll actually be able to eat [without brining something from home] at a luncheon ( Read more... )

It says no lard here http://www.bajafresh.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&itemID=14&iMainCat=4&iSubCat=14&i3Cat=14, which makes it likely the corn tortillas are vegan. I'd suggest looking on the online menu for items that are likely to be vegan and then calling to confirm.

I have gotten the grilled veggie burrito without cheese and sour cream. They also made me a crispy taco verson of that.

no rice. the rice has cheese in it.

i went there once and i got three versions of a wrong order before i walked out. i say stick to chips, salsa, lettuce and beans.

I used to get veggie tacos there with beans, lettuce, guacomole, tomatoes... I think that's it. And then I would load up on the salsa.

Veggie tacos aren't on the menu, so I am not sure how easy it would be to order them at your particular location. The people at my Baja Fresh got to know me, so it wasn't a big deal.

Now I live about 50 miles away from the nearest Baja Fresh... and I miss it!
