I use hippie suncream (actual suncream, not like coconut oil lol, it's just a more natural product). I fond a few years ago that after applying suncream I would feel nauseous. I then went on to work for Greenpeace and learned about the toxics campaign and was amazed by the different chemicals we use in our daily lives, in food in factors e.t.c That many were untested in the long term, or only tested in isolation not as the chemical cocktail we receive. Even when chemicals are proven to be very bad, a lot of governments and businesses are slow to react, or continue to use the dangerous chemical. So this all scared me into getting more vigilant about my suncream, make-up, cleanign products e.t.c. Thanks for sharing!!

i've always wondered how bad it was when everyone's sunblock washes off in the sea/shower...considering that most people use around a quarter-cup of the stuff when they lotion up....is it enough to have a negative impact on the environment? now i have an answer.
