This looks delicious but do you actually buy something called "powdered walnuts" because I've never seen that product.
I wonder if one could toast and then grind up the walnuts? Of course, one would get nut butter that way - so perhaps the coconut milk would need to be reduced.
to the OP it sounds like this would be thin unless you reduced the coconut milk and sugar to sweetened condensed milk consistency (which you can do with coconut milk). Can you specify if you use So Delicious or traditional coconut milk? They have different fat contents.
I think it is traditional coconut milk. Not quite sure what you mean; maybe it is because I'm from Germany; I assume So Delicious is a food label? Actually it doesn't it really matter how much fat the milk has; it's just important that there's some kind of fluid. It could also be water.
This sounds yummy! Will definitely try it, though without adding any sugar (the affordable dark 'cooking' chocolates are all way too sweet as they are in these parts of Europe, anyway). I think it could taste just like Nutella if I found the right tasting chocolate to use, as they do have varying flavors, and Joya's soy cream instead of the coconut milk (much cheaper but also very tasty).
Will try a version of this first thing tomorrow. Thanks bunches for sharing!
