i've been craving something like this for awhile, but haven't been able to get in the kitchen and get creative. i just put this in the oven! i'm so excited.
my modifications, based on what i had on hand: i made more of a "white" chili, using tempeh (with a little sage) and white beans.
i also halved the recipe for my cast iron skillet, but i wish i'd left the cornbread alone, because we LOOOOOOOVE cornbread and it only made a thin layer on the chili. i'm sure it'll be delicious tho.

chili is such a winter/cold weather dish, but i'm so glad that i made it, b/c it was so good (even if it did heat up my house).
