Baking substitution for Yoghurt?

I found an awesome looking non-vegan recipe for a green tea cake. It looks like it will be easy enough to veganise- I have egg replacer I can use for the eggs, but I'm concerned about the requirement for yoghurt.

I've never used soy yoghurt and am a bit reluctact to buy a container of it just for the use of baking once - aand... I don't know what

i'm pretty much in love with soy yogurt, and i never would have known it if i hadn't bought some for a recipe. just do it!!
