Firstly, I love, love, lurv this community.  Just stumbled upon ya'll and have been obsessed with your memories page ever since.  Seriously.  You're killing my social life.  :P

i prefer 100% pure maple syrup to agave nectar. agave nectar is better for substituting honey, or in tea. i haven't tried that sugar free 50 stuff but i've never had problems with maple syrup.

Is there some reason fructose is more appealing to you than maple sugar? It sounds crazy to me that they can call it "sugar free" when it's made with fructose, which of course is just a type of sugar.
