With SSI and disability, you can start buying 40s and 50s clothes. With hats even! IN PUBLIC!!! Maybe get something a little Rockabilly. I've got a small collection of shirts and ties I put together with the same jacket, vest, pants, and hat, Liz and I go out, and we look amazing.
Next time you come down, we'll all get suited up, Rockabillied up, and go into town, grab a bite to eat and hit the bar and tell'em to play some JAZZ! Which'll be good, because we'll probably at the jazz bar.

Also, if more than just me is doin' it, it might finally convince Adam and Tim to get off their arses and do it, too.

I think I might be pathologically worried about wasting money since I'm such a burden on my family and the disability monthly payments just barely cover my medical expenses. I've asked for some stuff for Christmas and I'm going to try and slowly build a better wardrobe.

I haven't been to see live music in a long time. Guess I need to get back down that way again soon.

Waittaminnit... with disability, didn't you get automatic Medicare and Medicaid? Those should be paying for your medications.

Well, I got Medicare. And that's helping. I'm just trying not to spend a bunch of money while I'm still sick, and I hold out at least a little hope that someday I won't be the tub of lard I am today.
