I was on my way back from getting some lunch just a bit ago when I, apropos of nothing, started thinking about how I'm gaining on 30 much faster than I'd like to and that the youth I was supposed to have wasted on having fun got wasted instead on being ill. 27 until February. But my ten-year reunion is coming up some time in 2009, which really makes me feel old when I compare myself to the rest of my classmates. They have kids, jobs, and/or spouses and I'm still sleeping in the same bedroom I did when I was six.

I missed out on getting lunch with my best friend while I was still in town because of a bad headache I actually couldn't ignore. There nowhere near as debilitating as yours, but four and a half years of this mess is frustrating.

I feel the same way about reaching 30 soon. You and I were born the same year about a month apart (Jan - Feb) - so I guess I'll hit 30 in a few years and if I freak out, you have a month to learn from my mistakes. :)
