It's all shiny. Even the LCD has a gloss finish, which really does seem to improve the contrast.

I'm still learning all the little cool things it does. Plus, I just found a set of Creative noise-canceling earbuds in the owner's manual. They must've been included because I have a Creative sound card.

My only regret is that I don't have the creative software of iLife. But, to get it I would have had to join the Cult of Jobs. And I'm not doing that while he's in bed with the Death Star.

A self-made desktop I'd been using for close to five years. It served well, but was really showing its age and I missed having a laptop, like I did while I was at Wake.
Ideally, I'd like to have a nice desktop and a nice laptop, so I can do things like transcode video while playing a game or reading the Interwebz.
