I received a call from Remedy on Monday about a Project Job for the rest of the week. They needed someone to do some data entry and some 'other stuff.' 9-5 $10/hr. I figured I wasn't going to get a better offer for the week, so I said yes.

16th century corset *is* outerwear for working clothes - if the coat is on top. No worries.

Unfortunately, it's a pretty front lacing gold embroidered silk corset from Desert Torch.

Does that count as 'working clothes' if I'm a courtesan? ;p

We need to start sewing together again! hehe And soon. I'd say you could borrow something out of my closet (the KP loose gown and my *very* comfy black skirt come to mind), but I won't be back to VA until Friday afternoon. I'm still working on laying out the Tudor patterns and resizing them to an acceptable size. Got some great new ideas for stuff, too.

Congrats on taking the less-stressful road to matrimony! Our's is still going to be the whole kit'n'kaboodle.

Yeah, dedicated sewing time would be awesome.

I noticed that they are looking for somewhere to host sewing nights... if I had more room (ie: my workroom was cleaned up) I'd offer. I'm not sure I could get it that way in time though. And I don't know what I'd do with Dante...

I'm good on clothes, I think. With attack_laurel's brief reassurance (though she still might swat me if she saw me...) I'll be fine in what I've got. :)
