I nearly got run over this morning. A car mounted the pavement right next to me. The driver didn't stop. I thought it was a potential lift in to work 'til she just drove away. Last night we enjoyed watching the Last Night of the Proms. The BBCSO were in great form and the soloists were a treat to watch. I haven't seen so much blatant flirting with the Proms audience by a singer. Men in evening dress were tussling for the tokens of her affection.
