Life is exciting. Lots of things are buzzing and awakening after the weight of 'the administration' has mostly flown away. So now we turn to all the things that have been left for the best part of a year.
Which should I pick up? It's a tricksy question. If I just launch into everything, I'll be overwhelmed before einem augenblick. (The English version of that phrase sounds so awfully biblical.) Before that though begets another, I'll return to the point, which I suppose was to take it gently and work out what I want to do slowly and steadily. Oh, and sensibly. (It's so hard not to be Julian! (As in the Famous Five? Ask
clothsprogs.))
And I shouldn't forget there is at least some remaining admin to do. That reminds me, must pay next IHT installment. Did the Chancellor really just double the IHT threshold for married couples retrospectively? Finding myself £60K (half of 40% of the extra 300K) in pocket would seriously not suck.
In other news, blood pressure nice and stable at 120/82, which'll do nicely.
Arm still hurts. "It's the rotational cuff" says Liz the Fingers. Need to stretch off to avoid a frozen shoulder, which my doctor says could last two years. Crikey. Maybe I should take up Tai Chi again. I so enjoyed repulsing that monkey. It was very much like some medieval dance moves, or was it the sword play. H'm. Can't remember.
Are all my days going to be like this? What fun! Hope yours is good too, gentle reader.
