That is a very lovely threemanbus icon indeed. But now I'm curious: what is your OT3?
Also, I'm with you on the element of weirdness in crushing on boys like this. I still don't know exactly what I think about it, other than I think I truly don't want to date them or fuck them, just look at them, and I'm more or less okay with that. Popslash was the first fandom where I encountered any significant number of m/m slash fans who were (willing to state publicly that they were) queer women, and it was enormously freeing to feel like I could say "OMG JC=SOHOT" without having people assume I was straight.
JC is wearing a very very stupid hat in your icon *loves him*
The OT3 of my heart is Chris / Lance / JC because of the pretty combined with the snark. It is my place of joy.
The weirdness is very very weird. It's one of the reasons I'm not out about the slash because it's odd enough for people to comprehend, if you then add in RPS and the queer theory as to why I'm a Chris fangirl it tend to make them go 'splodey.
And the queer girls in popslash are fabulous - I always end up enjoying their writing the most, possibly because their gaze corresponds most with my own. Hmmm... I've never thought about that before, but it fits.

And I acknowledge the smooshing horror, but I was young, innocent and naiive (well younger anyway) and it was what people called it so I did too.
