I'm afraid my opinion isn't going to help much, as I'm one of those people that doesn't really mind one way or another. My personal preference would be to stay on LiveJournal for the time being and waiting out the first little hiccups of a storm, followed by IJ, Scribbld, and then DW (in that order, simply because of free icon space) if we really find strong reasons to move.

This is just coming from someone that hasn't had any problems with the new LJ system outside of a few dodging of the layout issues. I'm aware that there's people who are now completely unable to get to LJ and their opinions are probably stronger than mine, haha. But's that's my two cents, at least.

I'll be up for whatever the game decides to do, but I'm leaning in favor of a move depending on what LJ does. If they don't get its act together? I'll follow wherever you guys decide to take us. Whether it be Dreamwidth, InsaneJournal, or Scribbld (I don't have much of an idea how either of the three work yet), if LJ fixes what it finally broke I'm willing to stay here. I've been using the workaround to keep the migraines and general freakouts of my eyes at bay for now, so hopefully things are fixed up. I'd put more in but I'm not really in the right mindset to word things properly right now, so I might come back to this and add more to it if they come to me \o/

tiny EDIT: Also with Hughesnet, my bandwith can be kinda limited or sometimes my net wont work all together with the stupid crap with the dish, forcing me to rely on my phone for tagging sometimes. With this new LJ, I can't access it via mobile.

haaa yeah it's going on year 3 now and if we get a heavy snowfall we'll be screwed for a few days ;;

Yeeeeeeeeeeep, that's what got me as well. It also sucked when I had heavy snowfall, I went out to go sweep it off and I almost killed myself despite the fact the dish was like four feet above my head. Sob.

Well, we all know I think LJ is a piece of shit.

However, I've been through a lot with Vat. You guys have really supported me and it's the only game I've stayed in for a long amount of time. Seriously, give me four more days and it'll be our anniversary, break out the motherfucking champagne.

But if you guys stay? Then I'll stay. I wouldn't oppose moving to Dreamwidth, but I also won't push it.

I'm not biased either way! Really, I'd say whatever you, the mods, are comfortable with since you'll be the busiest and most stressed out of all of us. Best of wishes! Hopefully LJ will get it together soon (YEA)

With all due respect to the people unable to access LJ because of this new stuff, I think it'd be best to stay here for the time being, and see whether the problems get worked out.

If we have to move I'm really fine with either, IJ has those 100 free icons but I know a lot of people prefer DW. SO YEAH.
