Time: Sunset hour? Sometime in the late afternoon! (4 - 5 PM)
Style: Anything Mil likes. \o\ I'm only writing the intro post as narration, so feel free to switch! :v First is good, too.
Status: Closed like Leon's pants. :D

Leon was out gathering his own thoughts, this place was so strange. From when he first arrived here, the fairy, then those zombie mermaids, and then -when he got a better look at himself- that strange tattoo on his left upper arm.

Not to mention the only two people he knew here, didn't know him at all. Not as if that wasn't discouraging enough, but the fact that Tifa showed up first, then Cloud and while Tifa seemed nice enough she just didn't know him. Cloud, well, was Cloud. No matter what the blond said, or denied. He was just like him.

He kept his head up though, and his gunblade to his side. This world was undeniably full of surprises.

Kamui stopped his steps and turned his head wordlessly upon sensing Leon's presence. He kept a flat face as he observed the other. After a few seconds of doing so, he recalled that this person was one of the newer ones here.

Particularly, this person was the one who offered to help protect this place from the zombies... even after just arriving and was in the state of confusion. It was either admirable or foolish of him to make such a quick decision.

"... Leon," Kamui decided to say his name. Not because he wanted to greet him, but he noticed that something seemed to be within the other's mind.

Leon recognized the other as, this was a strange name to him (he had to say it a few times in his head before) "Kamui," hoping that it sounded as he recalled it to sound when he was first told of the man's name.

Though their conversation was brief, Leon gathered that the other knew a significantly lot more than he did. So he, naturally, gravitated toward Kamui with the intent to press for answers to questions that bothered him. Course, that was, if the other wouldn't mind helping him out.

"Could I ask you a few questions?"

After Leon had asked him that, Kamui returned the smallest gesture of a nod. He would not mind. But it depends just what kind of questions Leon will give him would he answer or not.

Still, he remained standing where he stopped, even as Leon approached him.

Leon could only expect what was offered to him, he wouldn't dare push for more. Least of all from someone that was -seemingly- in the same boat as himself. All they could really do was work together, right?

So he gave him a small nod and a soft sigh, his eyes following the breath and focusing out and off down the street. "I heard someone mention something about touching something in the middle of this city.."

"Have you touched it?"

As long as they had the same goals, Kamui could see it fit to assist. Just like that time in Tokyo... they all just wanted to protect one thing.

"... The coral," Kamui assured that Leon was not off in his information. That was correct, in fact. They all needed to touch it or else they'd grow weaker. Why and how that happens? It's just one of the mysteries in this cursed place.

"As much as I dread to do so, I have. Why?"

"Because we have to touch it," his eyes trailed back to Kamui's but blinking away as his arms came up to fold to his front "no matter who we are, we have to touch the coral.." this was a little weird, but he understood it, then his eyes raised to the fairy that followed Kamui, then over to his own small one.

Because that's even weirder.

"Do you think they understand us?"

A small stare, Leon really seemed a bit dazed right now. Kamui already picked up the feeling that that wasn't the other's main concern. Though, he merely listened to Leon. Even continuing to answer his further questions.

"Perhaps. Even if they don't, someone puppeteering them would."

Kamui doesn't believe that these fairies are completely innocent. Maybe they might not be doing anything, but it's unlikely that they're just there without reason. He desired it to go away, but that wasn't to happen anytime soon. Time will tell what their purpose is.

Kamui would be right, this was not Leon's main concern. Though he's been to a few worlds he's never been to one where his own friends don't recognize him, and it cut deep, it hurt. To talk to them and have them look at him without that recognition, without that long history whenever they saw one another. The memories vacant from the mind as they spoke a certain way, said certain words together, and even the expressions that he would know them by - they would not share that with him.

He hated that.

"Do you have anyone here you know?"

Kamui had taken a pause, thinking carefully before he answered that one. That one was slightly personal at first glance, but due to Leon's lingering feelings of hurt and confusion, the vampire had picked up it wasn't because Leon wanted to know about him. It was something else, so he answered again.

"I do."

Kamui does because Subaru and himself are traveling together to different worlds and dimensions, just trying to escape one man. But even before they started doing this, the twins were already aware of the rules outside of their own.
