[ Well, well, well~ What do we have here~? Alucard is just towering over the half-dead man from the shadows, his red eyes staring down at him. A shame that whatever blood he had shed was now tainted with sea water. But just to be on the safe side, Alucard give the man a swift kick in the ribs. Y'know, just to see if he's alive. ]

[SON OF A BITCH that hurt! Kojiro jumped to his feet and swung his sword in a wide arc at his assailant, not even bothering to get a good look at who'd hit him before attacking.]

[ Well then. Kinda sliced through Alucard's face there, but no worries. His face begins to meld itself back together. At first he was like :| but now he's like :D He chuckles darkly. ]

Excellent reflexes, boy. Excellent.

[Kojiro's eyes widened as he watched the vampire's face stitch back together. His shock, however, was brief, and a grin soon twisted his features.]

Well, well, well... Interesting. [As he holds the blade defensively in front of him, he studies Alucard, unsure what to make of him.]

[Guy...covered in blood. hjehwh. If that didn't bring back some bad memories, like, say, seeing himself covered in blood, well.]

...Are you alright. [Standing at a safe distance; the guy's got a sword and he's covered in blood, not a good equation.]

[Yes, he has a sword and is covered in blood, but it's his own. Kojiro tilts his head and looks lazily over at him.]

...Yes, as a matter of fact, I am.

...One of the residents can probably get you a change of clothes. [Neku can't see any wounds; the guy looks perfectly fine, so... assuming the blood isn't his is just part of the almighty package to teenage suspicion!]

A pity; I was so fond of these, too. [That's because there are no wounds. There was, but not anymore. Oddly, he'd been patched up somehow.]

[Here's an elderly man suddenly handing you a towel.]

Oh my. You should wipe yourself off, young man. The sight of you covered in all... [he pauses to sniff the air... and seems to enjoy the scent] ...blood would give many quite the fright.

[Oh, thank you, though it'll take more than a towel to clean off the blood. Kojiro accepts it and wipes himself down, paying special attention to the bloody spot on his stomach.]

I've been covered in blood before, but usually not my own... [He chuckles, soaking up as much of the water and blood with the towel as he can.]

[Oddly enough, even though you already took that first towel... as soon as the first is no longer usable, Valkenhayn seems to have another at the ready.]

Your own blood, you say? Peculiar... although yes, it does match your scent. Are you injured...?

[That's convenient. And because he hasn't even had a chance to check, Kojiro opens his coat to check for damage to his body. Surprisingly, despite the blood, there's no wound. That explains why the pain is gone.]

I was. By all rights, I should be dead. Perhaps I am. [He muses.]

You're not exactly alive either, though, now are you?

[She stared at the boy laying there with blood. Running back to her apartment, she grabbed her backpack with her health supplies in it. Running to him, she went to his side and looked him over for wounds.]

Are you okay? Do you need help?

[Without waiting for an answer, she started digging through her bag looking for supplies to stop the bleeding.]

[By the time she got back, he was standing and wringing out his hair, nodachi sheathed at his side.]

That won't be necessary. [He said casually, pulling the tie from his hair to let it fall free. It was going to be a nightmare to clean with all this sea water in it, to say nothing of his bloody clothes.]

[She was surprised to see him standing and wringing out his hair. She shook her head as she approached him.]

You have blood all over yourself! [She watched him pull the tie for his hair.]

[As if taken aback by the statement, he looked down at the bloody mess on his front.]

Why yes, I do. [He mocked surprise.] Being sliced open will usually do that~
