[ ryoji, you are far too kind-hearted for your own good- there are just some people who can't change!! break is one of them- honestly, even if he wanted to change, there is simply nothing he can do about it at this point. his entire mental stability balanced quite precariously on how he lived nowadays, and really this is an improvement from before; even if a good half of it was a show- although a great deal of it was very real.

break doesn't necessarily like people per se, but at least he's found a decent halfway point- he likes to study them, observe them, and test either their knowledge or reactions.

it helps him to figure them out- people are very useable, after all! ... and just maybe, when he points out their glaring flaws as an insult in the most demeaning way possible, it might help to set them straight.

lord knows he needed the same treatment once upon a time...
