*Selphie jumps up to her feet and turns to see Spirit. She smiles brightly and waves*

I am! Do you like fireworks too?

Sure do. They're a lot of fun.

[He'll just trot right on down.]

I remember setting them off with Maka when she was little.

*Selphie points at the small pile of fireworks she has left*

[The tone is sarcastic but not cruel. He's standing just behind her, entirely adult yet again, and there's something a little off about his expression but really.

*Selphie slowly drew herself to her feet and turned to give Izaya a bright smile*

He-ey! My prince.

*She leaned down to brush dirt from her knees, looking at her toes*

Celebrating...? I guess?

Been here a year now..

Heheh. I think I've upgraded to king by now.

[He looks down at her toes as well and then up at her face in mild surprise.]

...A year? [Low whistle.] That's a long time! You're all alone though.

[He wanders towards the fire and pokes a toe at a log that had somewhat toppled over to the side. Pushing it back in with his toe, he glances at her.]

Do you still have my crown?

*Selphie couldn't help but grin at that - Izaya could probably pass for a king, as far as she was concerned. But she nods*

Yeah, a year.

*She just watches as he kicks at the fire, staring at where the log met the flames again*

Uh huh. It's in my room. Kinda crushed though. I was sleeping in the park...

[The lights and sounds did concern Celes. With the arrival of a certain name on her SFC, she was practicing caution. It was the giggle that finally calmed her though.

That giggle was easy to recognize. No one giggles like Selphie did!

If Selphie was paying attention to her surroundings, she could probably hear the formal General's approach.]

*Selphie jumps up from just letting go of a firework, and she tips her head back to watch it pop up before twisting to look back at Minato*
