And then, suddenly--
The elevator was open, lights in the Station Master's house warm and inviting. Suddenly there he was, grinning once more, offering rides once again. He says nothing of the situation, nothing except, with a grin-- "The rain is gone."
That means it's safe to go up.
The ride up is silent, swift, but once up--
SilenceIt is

They have left him. His closest friends. No birds, no animals, nothing that slithers or flies, nothing to keep him from being lonely.
If someone stumbles across N, they will find him by himself, wandering aimlessly as he looks for signs of life amongst the fog. ]

....And a whistle.
He glances at Yukari.]
...Did you hear that?

[Yukari is ready to shake her head. She tries to stay close to him, with the fog, and--
The second whistle.
She blinks once, and looks ahead of her, catching a glimpse of green hair against white.]
It looks like...
[...N?]

Familiar voices. N freezes as he spots them. ]
Minato. Yukari.
[ Friends? Were they really that? He wanted them, wanted to go to them, but fear twisted in the back of his mind. ]

He will stop once he sees them in the fog, his normal slight smile now falling into a full grin. ]
It's good to see you. Come on; I've got something to show you.

Naoya! It's good to see you! But um- can it wait? I'm looking for someone. Maybe if you help, it'll go by faster!

[ Isn't it just? He is always the one people turn to, when they can't do things himself. It's all he's useful for, apparently. ]

What does one do when they see their own village being burned for the millionth time?
Anyone stumbling across Bakura, will find him wandering about on the island. Anyone approaching would be in serious danger.]

It was a little hard to ignore without taking the Ring off and shoving it in a box. Which he had tried, only to find it back around his neck moments later, still stubbornly pointing.
So he had followed it, rather uneasy about the entire situation but at the same time, curious. He'd never seen the Ring move on its own before, after all....
When he reached the elevator, the tine had shifted, swinging straight up, so up he had gone, arriving in the silent fog]]
...Like being in a horror game...
[[With that observation, he really should have been expecting a figure to coming up behind him.]]

...They didn't deserve it. [The Ring was going to be his savior. Bakura would run across Yami Bakura at some time. Or, in this case. Yami Bakura stumbling behind him. Not looking directly at him. Something told his zombified brain not look at Bakura at all. It would distract him from his goal..]
Hey you... [He called out into the fog.]
Can I show you something? It's amazing, unlike anything I've ever seen.

Of course. Of COURSE the Ring was leading him to the Spirit, why hadn't he--
The thought trailed off as he turned, spotting his doppelganger. White on white, a specter of death in the fog that seemed to almost cling to the like a shroud.
Bakura instinctively took a step back, hugging the Ring close to his chest with a wince.
He should run. He should get away while he still could, before the Ring's Voice tried to latch on to him again!
But instead he stood there, frozen in place, unsure what to even do.]]

Darkness...I can hear it. Stop it. No, don't. Blood. Blood everywhere. But not in me. Blood not in me. Only darkness.
[He continues, and he occasionally twitches, like a puppet on a string.]

[With that loud announcement to his companion, Missile bounds towards Yomiel, his tail wagging.] WELCOME BACK, YOMIEL!
[YAP!]

... Missile, get back. Something's really wrong.
[He can hear those words and he's not derpily oblivious to things in the same way Missile is. He mews quietly and pads towards him, sitting down. Yomiel...]
What happened to you?
Reply
Sissel. Sissel and Missile. Yes, yes. I remember. The meteor remembers you too. It says hello.
[He scratches his head, still grinning that wide smile.]
We are all dead, did you know that? And I found death. He's right back in the forest. He is the best friend. Such a good friend. Yet he never visits me. But that's alright. He wants to meet with you. He's so curious, so very curious.

The light in his house may have been inviting, but the sound of the footsteps, even in the fog, is too enticing. Because maybe's them. Maybe they're back...
And though she can't see, she steps forward towards the sounds anyway, her Evoker in hand. Her eyes peeled...though she can't see much.]
...
[Do you approach?
Are you friend or foe? Do you help her look for her friends, or are you her enemy...?
Either way, Yukari shakes...]

I saw some of the missing people- something isn't right.

[Yukari stops for a moment, seeing the older man. She looks startled at first.]
Hey. Sven, right?
[He's from the Defense Force...he hadn't gone missing.]
I've...I've seen some of them, too. Are you okay?
Reply
Right. [...] I'm fine, but this situation raises too many red flags.
Do you notice how the people missing from before are all wearing the same clothes now, and have bands around their arm as if it's a tag?
It's possible...they were messed with. Be alert.
