Having managed to wake up before Zack and Genesis, Sephiroth had left the house dressed as per usual in his coat, black jeans and no shirt. Fully intending on heading to his usual spot in the park to exercise and wait. He was beginning to wonder though if the boy he had been previously training would ever show back up to continue it here lately.
Those thoughts were put aside as he spotted the blond in passing into the Plaza. Turning briefly to duck into the entrance of one of the shops, he picked up a couple towels to give him and then headed toward the boy.
"Hello, Ventus. Welcome back to Vatheon. Here." The towels were presented for Ventus to take as he spoke the last part, a subtle hint of a smile on his lips and dry humor in his voice.
Ventus looked at the man before him with curiosity and confusion. "Welcome...back?" He asked. Had he been here before? Why couldn't he remember? But he took the towels thankfully and smiled as he started to dry himself off. "Thank you."
Sephiroth nodded once, expression going back to its usual impassiveness as it became apparent the young man didn't recall him from before. "Yes, you were here previously. We fought together to defend the city. I take it you don't remember?"
Riku was wandering the city like he always did while others were either still asleep or just awakening, not really being one for sleep nor staying still for long in his restless behavior. Not that he was always like this, mind. It was only because he detested being trapped in one place for long. However, the voice-
If it weren't for the boy calling himself "Ventus" or the strange attire, he would have thought that it was Roxas. ...That emblem again, too. He couldn't help but ponder the significance of it.
"Not sure if 'lost' is the right word..." He kept his hood down this time, glancing toward the other boy and offering a towel. Most multiple-layer clothing choices took more than one to get dried out, after all. "Welcome to Vatheon."
"Er...Thanks." It was a strange welcome, but he was glad of the towel. Drying himself off a little then wrapping it around himself he looked at the boy before him. "So what is this place?"
He spared a faint smirk, giving the kid some breathing room. Though really, behind the blindfold, he was looking at the Keyblade. Not like he hadn't seen one before, but more wielders seem to have been brought here recently. A couple weeks ago, he wouldn't have considered himself one, either.
"An underwater city, that likes to pull those like us from our worlds and to itself. The reason's unclear, but recently..." His voice trailed off as he lost himself in thought. The papers he and Zexion - along with several others, he's sure - had shown that there was some sort of social experimentation involved, along with other forms. It was something that set him on edge, but without all the facts - why worry someone who was so new? Not to mention one that smelled strongly of light...
"-there've been clues that it may have something to do with the barrier that, at least below the surface, keeps us all from drowning."
Ventus nodded, still a little confused but more aware of his surroundings. Seeing as this boy didn't seem to pose a threat, and he saw no Unversed, he unsummoned his Keyblade.
"So there are people from other worlds here?" Perhaps Terra and Aqua had been pulled in as well?
Perfect time to pop up then? :3< Plus Ven gets to meet her new old-puppy!lux_permanetOctober 28 2011, 06:15:39 UTC
Perhaps Goddess Fate was smiling down on Ven on his search for Aqua after meeting the boy with covered eyes. It so happened that she was taking a walk to give her new companion, a huge black dog she found about a few days ago, some fresh air after being cooped up inside the hotel room all day. The canine was strangely well-behaved for a stray, staying at her side without the use of a leash which suited her just fine

After talking to Riku, Ventus felt happier about being here. Aqua was here which was both a good and bad thing but at least he knew where now. So he started off in that direction. It wasn't long before he saw the familiar blue hair and her voice calling his name.
"Aqua!" He started to run to her, stopping short and grinning. "Aqua!" He said again and started stroking the dog. "Riku said you were here."
To say she was shocked was an understatement. Aqua was absolutely floored in seeing Ven awake and speaking to her. She left him in that room... sealed away! He was in an eternal slumber...
"V-Ven..." she stuttered, frozen in place. Her mind warred with logic and her senses, trying to make sense if the boy petting the black shepherd dog was real or not. Her mind must be playing tricks on her. How could he be awake now?
She lifted a hand, gingerly placing it on his shoulder to find that he was indeed standing in front of her. Alive and well. "You're here..." She really couldn't help herself when the young master pulled him into her arms. Aqua held him in a tight embrace, hiding her face away as she forced back tears.
[Terra was wondering around as usual until she sees Ventus and slowly apporches him. The boy seems to be in a confused state so Terra decides to help him.]
If it weren't for Kouki, Rep wouldn't ever leave Riku's place these days, but the dog needed out and Rep had to follow. He kept his hood stubbornly up and was so internalized lately that a familiar scent on the wind didn't even phase him. Having his hood up helped.
However, as they were walking around together, the dog suddenly took off running. Rep wasn't the type to run after the dog, but he did take a good long look at where Kouki was heading.
And he didn't move from his spot when he saw who it was. "... Ven?"
"I don't know..." Rep looked away. "Do you?" He was suddenly very aware of his voice coming out 'wrong' to him and how that stupidly long lock of bang hung in front of his eyes.
Kouki certainly didn't seem to care - he just kept looking between the two boys with anticipation. He didn't know what Rep was worried about - that either Ventus didn't recognize Rep because he was in Zexion's form, or worse, that he'd lost his memory completely. You never knew in Vatheon. After all, Rep had never expected to even see Ven again.

But after a few minutes, he decided to speak up. "Aqua? Are you okay?"
