[Knowing well that the sun goddess is a more than worthy opponent, Masamune already has all six swords unsheathed, and is in the process of leaping straight at Amaterasu again with both "claws" swiping at her from both sides to the center. Electricity crackles around the katana and shoots out from the tips mid-swing, and some of these streaks of lightning may or may not stray from the intended target to the surroundings.
There's a giant grin plastered all over his face during all this, and it's clear that he's enjoying the fight.]
[That massive slab of divine steel is a-swingin', slamming as hard and as fast at Masamune's claws as momentum will allow, Ammy keeping her head and face carefully guarded behind the sword. Her legs and shoulders were a little torn up, but she seemed pleased and unbothered so far.
She summoned a strong jet of water from the fountain, dousing Masamune in the midst of all that electric-play.]
[Because Sengoku BASARA physics makes no sense The jet of water does just that -- douse him, as well as nearly knock him off his feet had Masamune not ground his heels. The electricity simply splutters and dies due to the distraction. Between this and the block from earlier, he wasn't able to cut Amaterasu.
Which is incentive to try again and he charges again, ignoring how sodden he is, both claws held at his side. When he's close enough, he'll thrust forward with one, blades rotating like a rotor.]
EITHER OF THEM. HAVE AT IT.myowncourseAugust 27 2011, 15:45:19 UTC
[Wow. This is just. Yeah. Jim has no words for this. Not even snarky ones. A dog and a guy with a weird helmet with a giant banana on it are fighting. And just. Yeah. No words. Seriously. Nothing at all.
He'll just stand here and stare with his eyebrow raised high enough that it is in danger of just becoming part of his hair line.]
YOU GET AMMY AND MAYBE MASAMUNE IN A BIT IDKto_takamagaharaAugust 27 2011, 17:08:54 UTC
[After a few summoned trees and a sudden rain storm, Ammy is falling back a bit, scooting backwards fast. She may not notice you in time to avoid bumping into you, Jim, but at any rate you might get caught in the middle.]
[He came upon this scene on his way back from his own training in the forest, which had been uneventfully alone but no less important. Initially, his intention was to look around Vatheon a little more, find some places he may have missed, but this was far more interesting. Masamune versus the Sun Goddess.
Still he knew better than to step in or get in the way, so he'll keep a respectable distance from the two and simply observe.
. . . the property damage was mildly concerning, however. Still. It could wait for now. There was no important reason for Kojūrō to interrupt this...]
[It's certainly an impressive fight; if anyone can match Masamune's intense energy and power, it's Ammy, who is channeling the raw force of creation and wildness into every blow. And with Ammy fighting more vigorously, it was becoming quite a spectacle, with three-second heavy downpours of rain and trees erupting from the ground not covered in stone. Which was quite abundant after quite some time of heavy fighting.
But Ammy is quick to run out of ink this way. After a particularly dazzling flash-bomb, she scooted back, growling deeply. Not so much angry or malicious as simply engaged and focused. She almost doesn't get distracted by Kojuro's presence.
HECK YEAH, BOTH.aphoriseAugust 27 2011, 20:32:34 UTC
[The fountain nearby loses its head when a stray lightning goes straight through it, but Masamune pays it no attention as he parries the softened cherry bomb and raises an arm over his eyes to shield it from the flash. Then he's about to lunge right at her again when he spots the unmistakable figure of Kojūrō from a distance.
His right eye knows this, but it's a warning he's always issuing forth and so he shouts. In the heat of the moment, his voice is hoarser than usual, which is saying something.]
I feel so special. *^*kagetsunaAugust 27 2011, 21:04:19 UTC
[Compared to some things he's seen in the past, the destruction is nothing new. He can't say he approves, but he knows Masamune is more the type to fix what happened after the fact... Or so it usually seemed.
His eyes close reflexively against the flash--somehow not blinded even without shielding his eyes. Likely the distance.
He spares Amaterasu a glance as she acknowledges his presence as well, but he makes no move to step into the fight in any way and simply nods as an indication for her to continue as she pleases. After all, he didn't want to distract her unnecessarily considering her opponent. And that is when Masamune's voice reaches his ears.
Eyes back to his Lord, he raises his voice just enough to be heard.]
Understood. [He hardly needed to say more. The Sun Goddess had seemed to be enjoying herself and was thus no serious threat to Masamune, and likewise when considered the other way. Simply a match, a very good one, and who was Kojūrō to interfere in that?]
[She looks at one of the buildings with a chunk missing from it. To Genrou, it would just look like the building was instantly repaired. On Ammy's end, she had opened the world canvas and used her Restoration brush.]
[... WELP. This is not what he expected when he walked past the plaza today. At least it should be a good show. He'll just... stand here against this building, slightly out of the way, and watch.]

She's switched to her glaive to parry his much lighter swords. After a quick breather, she snarls, cueing Masamune to make the next move.]
