[Good thing he isn't a human right now. He waited outside, but, now that the wolf has appeared, it's his cue to slip into the basement as well. Have a large dog, werewolf.]

[Lily is in her bedroom with James, trying not to freak out while Remus shrieks in the basement. At the moment, she has her face buried in James' shoulder, and she's trying very hard not to cry. She's only being moderately successful.]

[James has his arms around her tightly. He hates the full moon and what it does for his friend and he hates that he can't be down there for his first transformation in this new place. But if Lily's reaction is anything to go by, he's made the right decision.

He presses a kiss to the top of his girlfriend's head and makes soothing sounds in her ear, for himself as well as her. He may have experience in these matters but it doesn't make it any better.]

They could hear the screams if they listened hard enough and it had scared him then. Even though he was older now, the screams were louder and it made him feel just as helpless. He wanted to go down and comfort him as Prongs but he knew Lily needed him more.] Love you too, Lily.
