[While Liechtenstein has heard about a boutique in Vatheon, courtesy of a few locals, she never expected to see so many different types of dresses in different sort of styles.

At the moment, she is wandering the store until a dress, which is a pretty shade of turquoise with a modest neckline, catches her eye. Walking over, she picks up the sleeve and starts examining the dress]

This is such a lovely dress and the stitching is of fine quality.

Huzzah, shopping and fashion. :)

[Dresses are indeed the most common clothing category being displayed in this boutique, though there are sections with other varieties. One part of the store in particular has a few stands of darker clothing, ranging from dresses, trousers, and full formal suits.

But that turquoise dress is one that Kanaya is rather proud of, even though it doesn't suit her own build.

She was already approaching, to be within hearing if there were any question or requests, and is near enough to hear the compliment.]

Yes, I did. I've been designing clothes for a while, and thought I should try to sell some of my pieces through the store, since I wanted to work here anyway.

[Observing the potential customer, Kanaya can't help but wonder if his strife specibus would be Sandlekind, given the sheer height of those shoes. His attire seems vividly colored, which she approves of on general principles... though something seems odd about the relative lengths of shirt and legwear. A dress would remove that particular peculiarity.]

Hmm, yes, that was an interesting piece. It was designed by someone who worked here before me, I believe.

Bright colors are a good way for one's environment to be livened up, don't you think? It's been wonderful, how many people here clothe themselves in vividly colored garments.

Yes, that is true! Some of the colors remind me of the spring flowers...

Though a lot of these are so much brighter than any color I've seen before.

Indeed we are! I love cross-canon cr, though. It's so varied.

Ha, yeah, some of these you really wouldn't find in nature, even with the more extremely colored flowers.

[Kanaya takes offense to the claim that the entire shop is filled with bright colors. Partly because the majority of her canonmates prefer black, so there's at least one area of the store filled with blacks.]

I suppose I should make more of an effort to provide an array of white and pale garments. There simply hasn't been much call for it, so what there is, precedes my working here.
