[The SFC feed flickers on, and for a moment, all it picks up are chaotic lights and shadows, dancing together in a bizarre ballet. Then it all shimmers briefly and

Him.
Well, more along the lines that she didn't say goodbye to him when her soulbot exploded. However, she knew that it would be okay to show up! Especially since she had a good feeling about this, and had a good idea where he was.
A faint maroon-red glow could be seen as she approached the clearing, before too long she stepped forward altogether. The fire was calm, warm... it reminded her of the Sun itself. She's not a bit nervous at all to see him again, in fact, she's entirely happy to see him again. ]
I wouldn't mind lending a hand where it's needed.
[[ooc: I do hope this is alright! .3.]]

[And just like that, the serene mystic is gone, replaced by a completely flustered, nervous kid.]
[Equius scrambles to his feet, nearly tripping over his hooves, and unconsciously takes a few steps backwards, away from her, keeping the small fire between them.]
Who... what... when did you get here?
[OOC: this is fine! best to get the awkward out of the way early on, yes?]

[Oh, he does seem exceedingly happy to see her. She takes a step forward after watching him trot to the other side of the fire.]
I've already said hello to a few of our friends, but I wanted to especially make sure that I attempted to speak to you before the end of the first day.

[She... wanted to see him? On the first day? That's... encouraging?]
Oh. Well, you found me, so... hi.

However, she doesn't like that he's still so far away, and she certainly will acknowledge this.]
I did. Why are you still keeping your distance from me? I was informed about the curses that the city places on the citizens, so that won't be a problem.

[If he ever was to begin with.]
I'm keeping my distance because I don't know why you're here, and what your intentions are.

She simply crosses her arms and stares him down through the flames. If he was going to act like this, she'll have to try to get a bit tougher on him.]
Specifically, I don't know why I was placed here. I know it was for a reason, I just haven't found out why yet. Why I'm here, standing before you... I wanted to simply see you again. Something I haven't done since I ascended.

[This does very little to ease the tension.]
[He does pick up on her last comment, though, and what he blurts out next, he says without forethought or planning. Nothing here but blatant, painful honesty.]
Why?

She couldn't help but being a tiny bit sarcastic, only because it wasn't anything but the most obvious answer she could have given him.]
I missed you, maybe?

Why? I mean, why would you miss me? You... we... you never...

I never what, Equius? Hmm?
[Her tone changed to that of someone feigning an almost innocent curiosity. He was devilishly nervous and she realized this. Why was that?]

[But at least he's looking at her now, right?]
You never showed any interest in me when you were alive. You barely showed any interest in me when you were a robot; I think you only ever answered me or tolerated me because I had the skill set to give you a body and to keep it running.
So forgive me if your sudden friendliness now that you're alive is a little... confusing.
