[ strrrrum! what pretty harp playing. Waka continues the ascending and descending notes as he waits for a reply. ]

[ That voice is certainly familiar. Sheik glances towards Waka, opening his mouth to make a comment about the harp --

Then he remembers Waka will not recognize him like this. ]

[ on normal circumstances he would have...felt something familiar, but his Awesome powers are on vacay for awhile.

Should we try the pet store? [ you have acquired +1 half-baked bard! he's terribly amused by all this. ]

[ Sheik looks somewhat amused himself, but that is more by Waka than anything else. ]

Does the pet store here pick up stray pets and attempt to sell them?

I would suggest near trash bins. A dog away from its owner will be hungry soon enough, and go foraging.

[ Sheik cannot protest that; Waka makes for some amusing company. He starts off, making his way into the alleys to look for the invariably lost puppy. ]

[ Sheik finds himself humming along the way. That tune is fairly catchy~

Wait, what was that? Sheik pauses by a dumpster, noting the dirty white behind sticking out from behind it. ]

Hey, little one --

[ The puppy sticks its head out to look at the pair. Sheik crouches down and reaches out a hand -

And the puppy takes off. Of course it would not be that easy. ]

Hm... perhaps music can soothe the heart of the savage beast, hm? After it we go!

[ cheerfully following after the puppy, plucking out a few strings experimentally. now what would a puppy like... ]

I hope so. Otherwise this might be a long chase.

[ Sheik breaks into a jog to keep the puppy in sight. ]

[ There is a madman singing at him and a freaky ninja following him. Puppy is not sure what to do about this besides look back occasionally and wonder why the world hates him.

He will dart under another dumpster. It is safe under here, right? They can't get in. ]

[ when that puppy hides under the dumpster Waka will stop his playing and crouch down at the edge. hmm, what to do. Ammy always fed animals herself, so of course...

he'll take out some jerky from his handy bard-satchel, holding it out under the dumpster. ]

Here here my skittish friend, you're got a little girl who's looking for you.

What a wise man this is. The puppy scoots forward on its belly. Too tempting. Okay okay, it will get close enough to eat that jerky, oh yes. ]
