Except when the person doing such hopping about is stopped by a local, which seems to be happening a lot

[ Sheik looks down at the girl, raising his eyebrow at her. He eyes the tiger behind her, not sure what the beast is, but it does not seem to be aggressive. Is it intelligent? ]

Are you all right there?

Y-yes. Just. Trying to figure this out.

[there's a bow and arrow pack on her back too. gosh this place is crazy ;A;]

You mean the reason everything has changed? It seems to be one of the City's tricks, but I am not certain its purpose.

[ Pause. ]

Besides getting us to do menial tasks for the locals.

[ Hey there, fellow ninja dude. Just this guy hanging out on the roof. All in all, not so bad. He's found himself being able to run across roofs like nobody's business but then he spots this one and figures people of the same job class should stick together. ]

Hey! You look like you've been busy.

[royalsheikah]

[ Sheik looks up at the man on the roof from where he is perched on a balcony, having started looking for the dog. ]

... I have, yes. Yourself?

Kind of.

[ And he flicks the end of his scarf over his shoulder. ]

Looks like the locals need a lot of stuff done today. They had me going around looking for herbs in the forest and delivering packages.

Now someone wants me to look for their puppy.

[royalsheikah]

You too? It seems the child is asking a lot of people.

[ A pause. ]

Well. Four eyes are better than two, yes?

[chivalrygrudge]

[Ken is wandering around the city in some small but heavy-looking armor. Right now he's sitting down near the coral, looking tired.]

[ Sheik will pause, glancing down at the boy. Isn't he a little small for that?

Then again, the Hero of Time started at ten. ]

Are you all right?

[chivalrygrudge]

[He looks up, and nods.]

Yeah. I'm just not used to this armor...

[royalsheikah]

It does look quite heavy. Are you trapped in it like I am this cape?

[ Who thought it was a great idea for a ninja to have a cape, anyway? ]

[ Similarly, Hubert is (somewhat begrudgingly) taking a request from another child that had beckoned him over. It's one harmless errand; he hasn't a reason to say no. The curse has mercifully outfitted in an attire similar enough to his own with a Spellblade's touch, leaving him less bothered by the change than he could have been.

Once he agrees to the request, he turns, about to head off when he idly catches sight of Sheik through his peripherals. From what he can make out, that person with the little girl must be doing the same thing as him. And so, for a second, he can't help but watch with his head turned in their direction. ]

[ Sheik turns his head as well when he realizes someone is watching him, and smiles when he sees Hubert (though of course, due to this mask it is only around his eyes that is noticeable).

He has taken a few steps towards Hubert before he remembers he is Sheik at the moment. This was all much easier to keep straight when he had to hide all the time, instead of switching forms. He attempts to cover for his mistake by asking: ]

You are doing these "quests" as well, I take it?

[obsequience]

[ Considering he's the one who's been staring, Hubert doesn't think too much on the sudden approach and that slight change in expression. Instead, he simply nods, and turns so that he faces Sheik properly. ]

It seems that way.

[ What now? Where to turn the conversation? ]

Would you like some company, perhaps? These tasks may go faster with two people.

[letsgoonmyouji]

Need some help with that, baby? You're lookin' pretty beat.

[ strrrrum! what pretty harp playing. Waka continues the ascending and descending notes as he waits for a reply. ]

[ That voice is certainly familiar. Sheik glances towards Waka, opening his mouth to make a comment about the harp --

Then he remembers Waka will not recognize him like this. ]

I would welcome help, yes.

[ on normal circumstances he would have...felt something familiar, but his Awesome powers are on vacay for awhile.

so nice to meet you - again! ]

Should we try the pet store? [ you have acquired +1 half-baked bard! he's terribly amused by all this. ]

That depends.

[ Sheik looks somewhat amused himself, but that is more by Waka than anything else. ]

Does the pet store here pick up stray pets and attempt to sell them?
