[ Around the plaza, you might see a flash of movement out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn, whatever it was was gone --

Except when the person doing such hopping about is stopped by a local, which seems to be happening a lot

[ Similarly, Hubert is (somewhat begrudgingly) taking a request from another child that had beckoned him over. It's one harmless errand; he hasn't a reason to say no. The curse has mercifully outfitted in an attire similar enough to his own with a Spellblade's touch, leaving him less bothered by the change than he could have been.

Once he agrees to the request, he turns, about to head off when he idly catches sight of Sheik through his peripherals. From what he can make out, that person with the little girl must be doing the same thing as him. And so, for a second, he can't help but watch with his head turned in their direction. ]

[ Sheik turns his head as well when he realizes someone is watching him, and smiles when he sees Hubert (though of course, due to this mask it is only around his eyes that is noticeable).

He has taken a few steps towards Hubert before he remembers he is Sheik at the moment. This was all much easier to keep straight when he had to hide all the time, instead of switching forms. He attempts to cover for his mistake by asking: ]

You are doing these "quests" as well, I take it?

[obsequience]

[ Considering he's the one who's been staring, Hubert doesn't think too much on the sudden approach and that slight change in expression. Instead, he simply nods, and turns so that he faces Sheik properly. ]

It seems that way.

[ What now? Where to turn the conversation? ]

Would you like some company, perhaps? These tasks may go faster with two people.

[obsequience]

[ As odd as the notion of working with a stranger is, Hubert has always preferred to be efficient. So with a brief moment of silence, he agrees. ]

Indeed. What sort of tasks have you taken up?

[royalsheikah]

[ Sheik feels badly for approaching this like a stranger, but he knows it is all too useful to keep separate identities. He does not know Hubert well enough to know how he will act.

In any case, it might be interesting to see how he reacts to someone he does not realize is a princess, even if the name over his head proclaims him 'royal.' ]

At the moment my only task is to find a lost puppy. Yourself?

[obsequience]

[ The usernames are but words atop their heads -- but something Hubert has taken note of, regardless.

Either way, this works out just fine between them. They're both fetching something that was lost. ]

To retrieve a doll. It seems she lost it somewhere in the lower district.

We can keep an eye out for both, then.

[ Is that where part of the username comes from? Hmm. ]

Hubert Ozwell. . . . It's nice to meet you, despite the circumstances.

[ Perhaps a more believable name than "Sheik of the Sheikah" should have been chosen, but perhaps he can be forgiven. He was ten when he thought of it. ]

It is nice to meet you as well. Shall we begin?

[obsequience]

[ Nodding, he crosses his arms. ]

Did she give any indication of where the dog might be?

[ A puppy is more than likely to move around, but a starting point would be nice. ]

She just said she saw him running down an alley, and that was the last of it. He could be anywhere at this point.

Though I imagine we will find him near trash or food.

[obsequience]

That should likely be the case. We should start with those, then.

[ Besides the plaza, what part of Vatheon amasses the most trash and/or food . . . ? This is a clean city, for the most part. They should probably check every trash point they come across. ]

[royalsheikah]

Let us head towards the lower district, and take the alleys on the way.

[ Most trash bins were back there, as it was, and no doubt that was where a puppy might be able to scrounge. Plus they could head toward the possible location of the doll. ]

[obsequience]

[ He nods in agreement, then turns to head down the path leading to the lower district. Since he's technically on business, he isn't particularly interested in idle chatter now that they've decided on a plan. ]

[royalsheikah]

[ Sheik does not seem to mind, keeping an ear out for any scuffling that might belong to a puppy as they walk.

Wait, what was that?

He swerves suddenly and silently, heading down a different street. ]
