[voice is coming from somewhere above her.]

Before that, you should probably get yourself dried. It would be a shame if you caught a cold, miss.

I suppose you're right.

Rue shrugs. She's...never really thought about it before, but now that she does, she realizes making friends might actually make this place more bearable.

...what about you, Obi? Are you my... friend?

[blinks as he looks at her before he grins a bit.]

That depends, Miss Rue. Do you want to be friends? I wouldn't mind, personally.

...she blinks, too. She's not used to people actually asking her how she feels--mostly they either just told her or didn't care.

I...don't know, really. I just thought it might make things easier to deal with here.

I don't...I don't think I'd mind it, either.

[to that he just smiled.]

Then you have made one of your first friends here, Miss Rue.

A smile...kind of a smirk, really. It can be hard to tell with her. She looks a little in shock, but...happier, too, now that she's in drier clothes.

Indeed. Well. I guess I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do with myself here from now on.

She runs a hand through her hair. Living accommodations, food, water--there was so much she would have to check and figure out.

I can at least suggest a few places you could live in. There are several house and apartment complexes nearby that you can choose from. I live with my master at the Vita Apartments.

Oh, you have a master?

She considers this for a moment. Master of what, she wonders? Would Mr. Cat be considered her master? He did teacher her, after all...

...I guess those must be the buildings I saw on our way here. There seemed to be a lot...

She'd appreciate the help, yes :| But how will she choooose?

His name is Zen Wistal. You should meet him sometime.

There are quite a few. [he's about to answer that question~] What type of living arrangements did you have back home?

What kind of master is he, exactly?

She's curious now...and she considers his second question, thinking about the room she had back at Gold Crown Academy.

...it was nothing special. I had to share with a roommate of sorts, but we at least had our own beds.

She shrugs. She's never really thought about it before now...

Hm...to put it simply, he's a pretty nice guy who is obsessed with redheads and can get quite violent. [he says this with such a nice, cheerful straight face it was hard to tell if he was joking or not.] An interesting fellow, to say the least.

[muses.]

Well if you wanted, you could always ask for a roommate. But you can also have your own private apartment.

Redheads, hmm?

She repeats, glancing at her own hair. Nope, certainly not her. ...so she guesses that won't be a problem then, if they ever do meet? :| Good to know.

And she nods, to that second statement..

...yes, I definitely think I'd prefer a more private room, this time around...

[he's a horrible, horrible servant.]

Do you prefer a quiet area, or some place closer to the shops?

Reply

kruehe June 13 2011, 04:47:09 UTC
...quiet. Quiet is good. She doesn't really need to think twice, though she does anyway, taking a moment to consider the shops. It'd be convenient to be near them, right? But, no. She'd rather avoid people.

Most people...

A quiet area--that sounds...tolerable.

GOD why do I have to stay here, whine bitch moan etc.

And she follows, almost blindly. Well, it seemed like a quiet enough area.

Here?
