The feel of darkness practically dampened the entire city to the point where the doctor was certain it was subtly seeping into his clothes and soaking his skin to the bone. It felt familiar, almost as if that night which never really left his memory had started to replay. But certainly, this wasn't Riku. For some reason, it seemed more impulsive, wilder, freer... yet stranger and altogether more malleable.
Naturally, this had drawn him out. He followed his instinct, followed his internal compass to where this fight was taking place. Interesting. The doctor circled the pair off a distant perimeter. He would not interfere but be a At any rate, the winner would need medical treatment and the loser would probably need the same three days later after he returned.
At any rate, the sheer amount of power was a near joy for him to see. A small smirk curls on his lips as he draws out a cigarette and his lighter. Delicious.

Muraki wasn't the only one in tune and following where the darkness leads.
A corridor opens up nearby, depositing one cloaked figure. Hood up and blindfold secured, the two combatants wouldn't be able to sense his presence. He knew that darkness well, and the stolen power it was utilizing. The blind rage, lack of focus... it was too easy to crush. Even the faint whisper in his head agrees with that assessment, no matter how much resentment he held towards it and shoves the other presence aside.
Fake's actions are suicidal, and the one he was based on is in every way a disapproving rival. There is so much he still needs to learn... Ah, but there's another dark presence in the area and of course it's the doctor a certain shinigami warned him of.
"Come to enjoy the show?" he asks, keeping his tone neutral no matter how much he was seething under the the hood at that smirk. He wasn't any better than Ans- ...Guess he'd have to be more careful if he were to jump in and try to break it up.
Ah, Riku. If he had popcorn, he'd gladly share it with you. Unfortunately, the doctor has no buttery treats and cigarettes aren't meant for sharing. But what a circus, oh, what a show. Certainly something he wasn't expecting to see.
"Hardly enjoyment, dear boy. More of... education." he turns his attention to the hooded figure, pushing his glasses up slightly. "Is he by any strange chance related to you? The resemblance is quite striking."
His voice carries a definite cocktail of mockery and curiosity. Riku had always been one of his more favourite people in the bubble. Seeing another one, this one with the capability to be molded, was a definite treat.

He wasn't in the mood for popcorn, instead keeping his mind as clear as can be with that bubble still following him everywhere. That is, if ". . ." meant anything.
However, the image of the three dots begins to distort and blur at the mention of education. Warning bells went off in his head, gold flashing under the hood. Similar... Oh, he had no idea. Riku's eyes remained fixated on the fight before them a moment longer before he gave a casual glance toward the doctor.
This had been the reason why he had warned fake to stay away from doctors.
"I fail to see why that's any of your concern," he replies, attention returning to the two other silver-haired combatants. 'What an idiot... Did they drop him on his head?' 'This isn't how I was at all-' Riku rests a hand over his chest, grimacing. This was going to turn ugly; he could feel it.
this does not amuse kanji at all, boy 8|testosteronedMay 16 2011, 06:20:21 UTC
Between eating and sleeping, Kanji did numerous other nonproductive things like walking aimlessly around the city or feeding the ducks at the park. He sewed now and again, but he took some time off to get inspiration before he dove back into his hobby.
The amusement park was his destination this time around. Why he hadn't been there earlier, Kanji would never know. I mean, come on. Amusement parks were rare for Kanji to behold, since in Inaba the best you could get were annual festivals. So he jogged on over smiling like an idiot, before he felt something odd.
The air was different somehow. He was no Rise, but he could definitely sense something peculiar was going on.
Sooner than later, Kanji's smile disappeared and his eyes focused on a rather frightening view. Was that Caden? What the heck was he doing in the middle of this...this foggy darkness?
Kanji had a bad bad feeling about what was going to happen.
