[It's not really surprising that he spends a decent amount of time in the library, is it? So much so that he can greet the librarian by name and offer her a nod as he walks in--

A thought. 'Aniki...?'

And then he looks at that stack of books. He himself was here to find out information about Norn--she hovers in his thoughts vaguely as he looks at the other, but he hasn't had much luck with finding any books on mythology. So he only carries one book, which hopefully will have some information. He doubts it though.

Still, he's curious.]

Did you find anything interesting?

Ah.

[There's a nod and Motochika closes the book that he was looking at before putting it on the stack. His thoughts are a jumble of diagrams and terminology.]

This whole place is somethin' else.

[FREE LITERATURE? not that he reads much on a regular basis BUT STILL]

[A tilt of his head at that.]

The library?

[...whoah he didn't even think about how things like libraries could be different. 'Things were so different--']

Ah. Lot more to offer than what I'm used to.

[A glance around the book and then there's loud laughter-]

These aren't exactly any maps for chartin', though.

[ Ahh, the library! A place full of knowledge and interesting things that help Gracia learn about everyday Vatheon life! She walks in, her thought bubble displaying a question mark -- what part of this place did she borrow these books?

She gave Motochika a glance, but thought nothing of it afterwards. He's just another Vatheon citizen reading up. Good for him! Knowledge is power! And stuff. She walks by with three big books in her arms and spots the top shelf. She smiles.

Now how to get up? ]

I'll use that ladder...

[ Gracia sets the books down quietly in front of Motochika as he reads and pulls the ladder to the shelf. Damn why was that so high. Anyway, she grabs the books, steps on the ladder and well what do you know.

She still can't reach it. GDAMMIT. It didn't help that the book was heavy 8| Help get...? ]

[He stopped reading when he noticed a small girl hefting around a bunch of heavy books. Doesn't seem like it'd end well.

... Then he can't help but chuckle when she still can't make it.

Rising from his seat, he puts a hand on the ladder and calls up to her.]

Down before ya hurt yourself.

[ These heels are useless, hnnnnnnghh --

-- Gracia shifts on the ladder and looks down. It's the man who was reading. She tried to wave, but the books hindered her from doing anything but stand on the steps and stare. She smiles anyway.~ ]

I'll just put these back where they belong! Thank you for your concern!

[ Come. On. Book. Get. Up. That. Shelf. ]

[. . . sigh. He settles for crossing his arms and waiting then.

Won't trample on her pride but he isn't interested in letting her give herself a concussion either.]

[Back in Vatheon, and Obi's asleep. Geez, talk about timing...

But-huh, what's this? Zen spares a glance at the bubble-lacking one of his own, fortunately-before looking at the books.]

Interesting choice of reading material.

[It manages to catch him off-guard, but Motochika's thought bubble only becomes more crowded at his attention is diverted from the book. Lots of words and phrases culminate together to form a bubble that strongly resembles static.]

Somethin' to help kill the time.

[He picks up one of the books, staring at it blankly.]

You don't look like you're from the... future. Does your world have these kinds of things?

Nope. But that's all the more reason to seize the opportunity now.

*Selphie couldn't sleep since her sad arrival back in Vatheon. Where could she go where she wasn't likely to bump into many people? Where could she go to hide? She was shuffling her way towards...who knew what, when she paused, distracted by the image of Minato*

[When he notices her, it's a simple observation and his thought bubble reflects the memory of Minato's thought bubble as he thought of Selphie.]

You're Minato's friend, huh? [A thoughtful pause and he sets down his book.] Welcome back.

*Selphie looks almost frightened to be recognised, especially by someone who she's never seen before. She pauses, just nodding slowly*

Mmhmm...

Nothin' to thank me for.

[He waves a hand and meets her gaze evenly. Doing his best not to scare her too badly.]

You seen the kid? ... Minato, I mean. He was torn up about you.

[Katsu is poking through the library, looking for fiction. He's had enough of nonfiction and wants to escape into a good book again. He pokes through the shelves, his thought bubble bobbing along behind him with images of giant robots, fierce battles, and power levels over 9000 generally shounen manga type images. He grabs a few books off the shelf, and heads around to see if he can find the checkout...]

[And stops when he sees Motochika. He looks down at his books and then back up at him. ... He should have expected someone to look like he was grabbed out of a shounen manga in Vatheon, honestly, but still the only thing in his thought bubble is a !.]

[He looks up and well, his thought bubble halts completely. It goes back to their previous conversation- one that consisted largely of voice, but the original post was...]

Ah. Katsu.

[Oh! That voice! He recognizes that voice!]

Motochika. Hey.

[He smiles a bit, and looks down at his books. ... Aheh. His thought bubble fills up with blushing. He feels a little dorky.]

[His thought bubble's in a constant state of clouded and crowded, filled with enough words and phrases that overlap each other that they can't really be identified. There are just a bunch of ?'s floating about now.

Ah well. He sets down his book and turns his attention to the kid.]
