[Sango wasn't quite sure if that was a knock or something else about to go horribly wrong but when a second passed without anything else falling apart she made her way to the door.

She seemed a bit frazzled when she opened it but only gave the strange boy a look of confusion.]

[Laura heard the explosion from ten miles away but as unnecessarily great that was, she was just a few feet away from the tenement. She just wanted to come over to visit someone who met along the way with her time here in Vatheon but instead she enters the building and comes across their room, noticing the familiar monk was there, she'd figured she could pay him a visit. She gives their door a firm knock with a knuckle and waits for an answer.]

[Just a few minutes Laura. The monk needed to open the door anyway. He coughed as a wave of smoke fluttered out the door.]

[Laura blinks at the smoke as it vapors out of the room and takes a back to give the monk space to come out and breathe in the fresh air that was much better outside.]

Unlike any sane person, at the sound of the explosion, the Doctor immediately set off at a jog towards its source. Explosions always meant something dangerous was happening, and anywhere such exciting instances happened, the Doctor would not be far behind. As he approached, the Doctor took a look at the smoking apartment and grinned.

"Hullo! Anyone there?"

Sango heard the voice outside and opened it to see who it was, coughing a few times as more smoke poured out. She seemed a bit at a loss given how...cheery this guy looked despite the fact that she thought it was pretty obvious there was a problem.

Still grinning, he replied, "There's a lot of smoke coming out of the building. What seems to be the problem? Can I help somehow?"

She gave a small frown of uncertainty but finally replied. "We were just trying to use the devices in this place. They... won't work properly I think."
