A red and gold dagger would slice an Unversed in half before it could attack a little girl. Rikku looks back at the girl.]

Run!

[Not waiting to watch her run away, Rikku gets to work, slicing and dicing away at the monsters.]

[Probably a good thing; he has some sense of what would happen if he went wild on the natives. This was hardly the type of place that couldn't protect itself.]

[Even so, as Rikku tears through the monsters, she might find that the Unversed are slowly growing larger and larger, from mere Floods to Wild Bruisers. Perhaps she's impressing him; perhaps Vanitas wants her out of the way. Whichever way it goes, there's several Unversed still on the scene...and they're all heading towards Rikku.]

Ah, you wanna play rough, huh?

[She jumps back, shifting to White Mage mode as she does so, and after a quick Haste spell, she's back to Thief, attacking harder and quicker than before.]

[These creatures won't go down so easily, though this shift in ability is certainly noted. A roar from either side; two of the Wild Bruisers raise their ape-like arms, smashing them against the ground and sending spires of earth shooting upwards, right towards the girl in between.]

[Tom can certainly sympathize with him. In fact, said teenager is watching Vanitas from the shadows. He has no quarrel with the Unversed, but if they attack him, he will not hold himself back.]

[Well well. This might be something...interesting. He's watching right back, Riddle, through the eyes of a Flood that scurries over to your feet. His posture doesn't change; merely leaning against a tree's trunk, eyes upon what chaos he knows he can get away with.]

[Sighing, Tom idly flicks his wand, sending jets of light into the darkness. That is what things thrive on, isn't it?]

[The unversed hiss, congregating on those lights, some burning at the touch; before they're torn apart, shreds of light scattering in the wind.]

Well there's point one; they won't like you for that.

[And yet, they don't attack. Tom's continence speaks of its own darkness, and Vanitas has his own ways of answering new found questions. Yellow eyes flick towards his direction.]

Until then, he's pulling out two parts of his Buster Blade and dual wielding as he begins to cut down these... things. Damn, why were the rabbit ones so cute yet pain-inducing?]

[He merely watches Cloud go at it, tsking under his breath before sending out a few...larger enemies. The Buckle Bruisers should have an easier time against those swords.]

[He's not glad to be of entertainment value. :| And pfft. You should see him when he's not terminally ill, kid. So he noticed one moment casting Dark Thundaga on it, thank you materia.]

[Then bigger ones with the same eyes and insignia appear. Hm... Those shields could prove to be a nuisance. He quickly combines both swords, jumping out of the way at the shields sent flying at his head. His sword glows as he takes the opening and firing off a Blade Beam.]

[And yet, entertainment he certainly is. He's taking note of this; of Cloud's inner struggles, his emotions...ad particularly interesting placement upon his arm.]

[Questions, questions. It's turning out to be a day full of interests- a venture into a fight was just what he needed.]

[A Bruiser shrieks as its sent flying back, but attack from the front as it is, it does only general damage. It's retaliation comes in the form of a flying shield, followed seconds later by another.]

[And there was Demyx, laying flat on his back on a solidified portion of water in the center of the pond. If he had to, he'd deal with the Blue Sea Salt hovering nearby, but he was just too damn lazy to do so.

Until it pelts him with a ball of ice, then a geyser erupts under it to ensnare the unfortunate creature and drag it under. Eventually, Demyx peers over into the water.]

...Wait a sec.

[...Just what was that?]

[The new question here, Demyx, is just what is that god awful no- oh, wait, it's just Lea yelling.

Guess who's been out in the park training all his neat little skills when he'd run into a few of the little itty bitty ones?]

[With his A-T on and his wind and fire wheels out and in his hands, Lea is skating around the pond, waving in frustration at the sitar player.]

Get your stupid lazy ass up! C'mon! These are the things I was telling you about! The monsters from Radiant Garden!

[Every now and then, a scattering of Floods and a Scrapper pop up in his path, but Lea just weaves past them, quick as usual.]

If you don't get the hell up, I'm making you break up with Isa! Lazy ass like you needs to prove himself pronto!

[Good lord, kid--Talk about cranking it up to eleven! That horrible noise--er, yelling--does make him prop himself up on his elbows, but nothing more. Yet, anyways.]

[WHACK. SPLASH. Into the water he goes thanks to an Archraven colliding into the side of his head, effectively breaking his concentration with the water.]

[Lea rolls his eyes. He rolls his eyes so hard.]

Yeah, you look like you really got a handle on things over there!

[Just Isa's luck. Go out to train some more in the woods, and run across moving targets. His claymore, Manumit, is quickly thrown into action, and he rips through one of the Unversed. It feels good to do this, and it's a huge stress relief.]

[It's gratifying for the moment, Isa, whilst all that haunts him is mere Flood and Scrappers. But then they start multiplying, into Thornbites, and Shoegazers.]

[Until Isa is left fighting three Bruisers, and there's no way out.]

He's surrounded and these things are huge and not going down as fast. Not to mention that he lacks the upper body strength to properly wield his weapon. So he's pretty much screwed. Shiiiit. He'll just keep fighting while he can.]

[And there's Vanitas, leaning against a tree and watching this all idly. Isa is calling to him, after all, with all that pent up rage, that hate, that anger.]
