[He merely watches Cloud go at it, tsking under his breath before sending out a few...larger enemies. The Buckle Bruisers should have an easier time against those swords.]

[Then bigger ones with the same eyes and insignia appear. Hm... Those shields could prove to be a nuisance. He quickly combines both swords, jumping out of the way at the shields sent flying at his head. His sword glows as he takes the opening and firing off a Blade Beam.]

[Questions, questions. It's turning out to be a day full of interests- a venture into a fight was just what he needed.]

[And really, it's no good trying to keep an illness hidden when someone can feel it. It's practically acidic against Vanitas' tongue, influenced by a force he doesn't know and isn't quite sure he's ready to contend with. Even so, he can have quite the bit of fun with Cloud.]
[Whilst Cloud is kept busy with the Buckle Bruisers, a few Mandrake sneak their way upon the scene. Much more heavily controlled, their blades whir silently before they're unleashed, all flowing in the same general direction.]

[Cloud grimaces, stopping dead in his tracks and staring at his arm as it tenses. Not now, dammit! "Why tremble with rage-?" Shut up!]
[The Leaf Cutter slicing his arm and sleeve makes him snap out of it, but it reveals the black ooze under the small, pink ribbon tied to his bicep- the symbol AVALANCHE picked after Aerith's death. He glares, taking a breath to calm himself before firing off spell after spell at the Mandrakes. Small, annoying ones come first. He could duck out of the way from the Bruisers.]
