[Through the power of ~time paradoxes~, this thread takes place after.

So, having gotten clean clothes and now both being dry, Minato strolls beside his friend, hands in his pockets. He's...taking this rather well himself, though he's still unsettled by the apparent fact that Akihiko no longer remembers him.

Anyway--]

I don't know if there are rides here, Ryoji-kun.

[ He thinks, closing his eyes. ]

... There's a lot more. They're--angry. Something is... really wrong with the dead here. It's almost like they've gone insane. It's... really sad.

[ He points to their left. ] There's some approaching us from that way. We'll... they'll catch up with us eventually. We'll have to fight them again...

[He is wondering quite a bit about that information. What could be so wrong that it messed with the dead? Why are they so angry? But he doesn't really have any answers, so he leaves it at that.

Instead he looks around.]

...We should find a better place to stand and meet them, then. We wouldn't want them attacking from behind.

[And up the road, the buildings are build slightly further apart--creating a funnel affect from where they stand.

Here, Minato thinks, they won't be able to be overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

We'll fight them here, and then search for shelter while we can.

[ Ryoji changes back within an instance of a bright flash of light. THANABRO READY AND WAITING FOR ORDERS, SIR. Strategically positioned to cover Minato's back, of course. When Ryoji speaks, his voice is a bit like it's being filtered repeatedly through some sort of electric distortion machine, and then further twisted so that it is only slightly recognizable as his own. ]

There's an area past here, lower down, that they seem to not congregate around. We'll head there after cutting their numbers down for the moment. Their rage needs to be satiated somehow.

[A short nod.]

[Ah-- even he can see them, now.]

Get ready--

[And the ghosts appear, nasty scimitars raised, expressions distorted, twisted.]

[ THANABRO IS READY, BRO.

And the ghosts descend upon them. Using his full power, it is not even difficult to make short work of them individually, slamming them down and watching them disappear into the air.

When he guts them with his sword, the same happens. He keeps one proverbial eye on Minato, making sure he's safe, and cuts another ghost in half.

[Minato is doing perfectly fine, don't worry your little head, embodiment of Death.

Dionysus seems like a sensible choice, considering his resistances against physical attacks (and those swords look nasty, so the more resistances, the better). So he simply flips the gun up to his temple and, without a breath's pause, pulls the trigger, bringing Dionysus forth to help them take care of these creatures with sharp, powerful bursts of lightning.

They decimate a number of them quickly, but it seems as though as soon as they disappear, more (the same?) take their place.]

[ He won't worry too much, but the fact every one they cut down seems to be replaced so quickly is something he feels is adequate to worry about.

Just gonna Die For Me! your entire field, sans you. It is such a useful kill. Though he isn't sure if it'll work, so he keeps spamming Brave Blade cutting them down. ]
