Why is she wet? Her clothing felt all damp and uncomfortable and she was -dry- a minute ago. With an 'nngh' as she roused herself, Kairi opened her eyes hesitantly, surroundings coming into focus. Oh .. so dizzy. Wait... were those bodies?

Startled, Kairi sat up abruptly, and immediately regretted it. Oof, okay, no quick movements for the next little bit. Neverminding herself, she crawled to all fours, about to move towards the nearest person to see if they were okay when she heard a voice. "Huh?!" She glanced around, and then pinpointed the person speaking.

"...I'm ... I'm fine. Who are you?"

With a gentle swaying motion, the stranger comes down to Kairi's level and sits upon her knees.

"We are all glad to hear you are safe," she says. Her eyes are smiling. "I am Thalassino, the Head Priestess of this kingdom. Do you have a name, little one?"

Kairi tilted her head curiously at the other woman. Head Priestess? Cautiously she reached up to wring out her hair, and in doing so, caught sight of the mark on her hand. That definitely wasn't there before. "Thalassino...?" She echoed, curious. "My name is Kairi. Where am I?" And who doodled on her hand while she was out cold?

"Kairi," she repeated quietly. "It is a pleasure to meet you. We are currently in Vatheon, in the city's plaza. Would you like a towel?"

[Percy, to his credit, doesn't freak out at the feeling of being wet or ill. He sits up, and blinks, willing his clothing dry.]

I... I think I'll be all right.

[Hmm... he can't tell where under the sea he is. ... That's worrying.]

[ when the water disappears from your clothing, the hushed murmurs increase a bit. The woman standing in front of you raises a hand, and they're all silent again. ]

You seem well accustomed to the water. I am glad that you are unharmed."

[He nods, and eyes her warily.]

Who are you?

[thalassino]

My name is Thalassino. I am the Head-Priestess of Vatheon and the obedient servant of Lamufao. [ she brings her hands together in front of her. ] Do you also have a name, young stranger?

[windwilled]

[As Dominic awakens, it doesn't take him long to realize that something's wrong about this picture.]

What the--? Where am I...?

[The last thing Dominic remembers is falling towards the ocean--but he's fairly certain that Earth never had any cities underwater, if such a thing is even possible. And so, he's quite confused, as none of this makes sense.]

[Considering Lassiter has managed to get his bearings at last, he's determined to get some concrete answers out of someone ]

You. Hands where I can see them. [Needless to say, he's groping his right hip, looking for a gun that's... not there.]

[Seeing as how this man doesn't seem to actually have anything to threaten him with, Dominic isn't intimidated. And likewise, he's looking to find answers as well--and this person is conveniently talking to him.]

[More so to himself] As if you don't know...

[Trying to play off the fact that he can't find his gun, because he can still be extremely threatening] That's what I'd like to know. Now hands. Where I can see 'em.

[ His head feels heavy, and he barely processes the words. There's people and -- and that's strange, because this doesn't look like the same alley he had been waiting for Gil and Alice to return from and... where's the hat ]

Ah -- What? [ He blinks, caught off guard, and then suddenly coughing, holding his head. He hasn't bothered looking up yet but ... ]

[Ayumu can be seen sitting up next to Oz almost cautiously trying to take in the situation. The feeling of fatigue was something he was a bit used to but this place...It was denying a lot of physics just by being here. Still he takes a calm look around and notices the kid next to him as well as all the others around him. It looks like they were suffering from the same symptoms as well. Strange.]

...What's going on.

[He coughs once more and when he actually regains a complete sense of consciousness, he realizes someone is talking to him. He perks up slightly and glances to the other boy, blinking in surprise.]

I ... don't know, honestly. [A weak laugh, because what else can he do. A fidget] Where...

[A moment of silence on his end]

...This may sound weird but do you happen to feel sick or drained?

[One: He's soaking wet. Hoping that his phone and music player aren't damaged now. Two: He has no idea where he is. Cue freaking out.]

Huh? Where--!?

[He stares blankly, before a voice startles him.]

... Who are you?

[A pause, and then a rather sodden thief steps up behind him, near silent until he speaks.]

I'd like to know too. But it seems like everyone's a bit confused.

[And Billy gives a start at that, because that was unexpected.]

Gah!

[Jumpy Billy is jumpy right now.]

[Oh hoh. Matthew would find this amusing, if he wasn't so baffled and annoyed at the situation. Still, he smirks.]
