Startled, Kairi sat up abruptly, and immediately regretted it. Oof, okay, no quick movements for the next little bit. Neverminding herself, she crawled to all fours, about to move towards the nearest person to see if they were okay when she heard a voice. "Huh?!" She glanced around, and then pinpointed the person speaking.
"...I'm ... I'm fine. Who are you?"

"We are all glad to hear you are safe," she says. Her eyes are smiling. "I am Thalassino, the Head Priestess of this kingdom. Do you have a name, little one?"

"Yes, please." She answered distractedly, glancing back to the High Priestess. "I don't suppose you know if anyone by the name of Sora or Riku is here?"

Slowly, the young woman wove her way around the others until she spotted the red haired girl, staring. That couldn't possibly be her. But then she gave the priestess her name, and all doubts melted away. "...Kairi?"
Reply
Silence for a few minutes, as Kairi tried shifting through the jumble of her memories. "I know you, don't I?" She asked slowly, a puzzled frown on her face. What was her name? Starts with.... starts with...

The charm around her neck glistened. That charm she put a protection spell on. It had to be her. She nodded. "Yes. You gave me flowers, that one day. I'm Aqua."

Kairi blinked once or twice, her eyes widening. "Aqua??" Torn between surprise and ...well okay just surprise really ... Kairi shook her head, "I - I remember, but... how ... that was years ago! You look like you haven't aged at all."
How rude, Kairi. "I mean, it's wonderful to see you again in...in..." A glance around. "...wherever we are..."

The Keybearer approached the girl further, looking around as well before her gaze turned back to the Princess. "It's good to see you too." Even if it has been some time. "Are you alright?"

As Aqua looked around, so did Kairi, finding the people gathered around, confused, a little troubling. "I wonder - was it that Lamufao who created that dark corridor ...?" Hm. But she's back to smiling, "Yes, I'm all right. What about you?"
Reply
"I'm not sure what, or who, Lamufao is, but I'm guessing we'll find out soon enough." The people were still watching, whispering, and she repressed the chill that swept through her. Why were they always watching? Aqua turned back to Kairi, raising an eyebrow. "A dark corridor? Is that what you saw?"
She smiled. "I'm just fine." She paused, pointing to the girl. "Do you...have a mark on you, somewhere?"
Reply
"Yeah, some guy showed up out of nowhere saying that he could take me to see Sora, but... I didn't trust him. Then this dog showed up, while I was trying to think of how I could get away, when this dark corridor appeared. The dog ran off to the corridor and I figured that meant it was safe, so I ran into it with him."
Kairi picked at a strand of wet hair, "The next thing I knew, I was here - soaking wet. The High Priestess gave me a towel to dry off but -- are we really underwater?" Bewildered, she frowned at the question, "A mark? I -" Wait, she DID recall seeing something, and she held her arm up to show Aqua the back of her hand, where the mark was. "Do you mean this?"

She took Kairi away from the crowd, walking with her just a little ways off, turning to her. "...Sora?" It couldn't be. They were on different worlds. But still, she had to wonder, if it was the same boy. "Brown...spiky hair?" She nodded. "That was smart, Kairi." But who was this person? She'd have to ask later.
"I think we are. I've tried looking around, but..." She could almost feel the pressure of it, too, though. The Keybearer nodded, touching a hand to the back of her shoulder blade. "That's right. I have one too. I think...all of us do. I've seen it on others."
Reply
"An entire city under the sea.." Huh. "I never thought such a thing was possible." She glanced up - how is it they weren't crushed by the water pressure? "What's protecting the city...?" Nevermind, she gave a startled glance to Aqua, "You do?" Her eyes darted towards the area that Aqua touched. "... This is too weird. I don't like it - and those people are a little too interested in our well being."
[ OOC Also dead of laughter, I was going to have Kairi's mark be in the SAME place, but changed it at the last minute XD ]

She shrugged. "Anything's possible. My world is suspended on a mountain face. It's almost impossible, but I guess this just a new place. I wonder how this city was put down here." She nodded. "We'll figure it out. But for now, we should keep away from those people. I'm not too sure about them either."
