8D It was waiting to happen. xlillackeykitty October 25 2010, 15:37:13 UTC
It looked to be a promisingly quiet evening. Sure, there was still some time to get dinner (take out or otherwise) and maybe restock the champagne bottles he'd picked up a few nights prior but for now, there would be time for him. Perfect time for a stroll out to enjoy the town. He'd nearly died of a heart attack this morning so he couldn't really check out the ambiance for himself. It wasn't so bad, now that he got a better look at it.

With a huff, he fished a small shopping list out of his pocket. His attention was totally and absolutely on the scrap of paper. Now where was that store where he got that really good Pinot Blanc...?

It totally was~ scaresplants October 25 2010, 15:55:54 UTC
All of a sudden, there was a ticking noise. It was quiet and rhythmic, and it was rather jarring to suddenly hear it in the quiet night.

Tick, tick, tick, tick. It seemed to come from the nearby alleyway. But where exactly it was coming from, no one knew...

Crowley smirked under his mask. It was showtime.

Huh. Well that was weird. He looked up, trying to locate the source of the sound. Pipe bomb? Here? No, that was too stupid. But curiosity killed the cat and all that and as much as Luka hated to admit it... he was curious like a cat.

Hm... he'd never noticed that alley before. Dark, creepy, kind of foreboding, but there seemed to be something more.
"Uh... anyone here?" he asked to no one in particular, jamming the paper back in his pocket as he started down it.

Yay! :3 scaresplants October 26 2010, 00:18:31 UTC
For a long time, there was just silence and the continued ticking of the clock. Then from the alleyway came a voice- a young one, filled with fear and anxiousness.

"Please help. I'm-I'm so scared. Please help..." And whoever it was started sobbing. Just a young child in need in help...

G-good luck scaring him? oh_neku_dear October 25 2010, 15:57:33 UTC
It was a nice evening for a stroll in Joshua's opinion. He all but ignored the angler fish surrounding the dome, not to mention where he was going. The only reason he picked going down the foreboding alley was because it was a shortcut 'home.'

Crowley will try, he really will. >> scaresplants October 25 2010, 16:02:17 UTC
Maybe out of the corner of your eye, you see one of the shadows of the alleyway move slowly, rhythmically toward you. And in the middle of it is a smiling face, unmoving and undeniably creepy.

And there's now a hand on your shoulder, gripping it tight.

"Hi," a voice says from the darkness, completely cold and menacing.

...yeah, that? That actually worked. Kinda. oh_neku_dear October 25 2010, 16:08:08 UTC
He had seen something move, that was for sure, but wrote it off as a cat. Then he felt the hand on his shoulder, and the tone of voice helped nobody. This was the type of situation Joshua hated getting into, and Sho's little fiasco only increased those feelings.

This was most likely the only time he would ever react without thought. Congratulations, Crowley. Joshua whipped out his cell phone, turned, quickly texted something, and then a metal road block fell where he thought the person behind him was.

Success is his! :D scaresplants October 25 2010, 16:33:23 UTC
Well, he hadn't expected that. Luckily, Crowley had good reflexes, so he managed to dodge the road block by jumping back at the last minute.

Ooh, he really wanted to reveal himself, but then again, he wanted to see more reaction out of the kid. So he kept silent, walking slowly back up to Joshua while twitching his head from side to side, as if to make himself appear that he wasn't at all human.

And there's now the strangely loud sound of a clock ticking away in the background: tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...

are you really gonna scare her ;_____; libraria October 25 2010, 18:37:17 UTC
[ Nodoka is really just wandering around trying to make sense of the new world Vatheon has become; it's quite scary, she can admit that, and she's not entirely sure that she likes it, but still... It was nice to get her mind off the things that had been bothering her. With her halloween dress, suitably tatty, and a simple mask to her name she was rather enjoying the exploration, despite the creepy factor. ]

no he's not that mean >> scaresplants October 25 2010, 19:36:32 UTC
[He spots her and puts off the idea of scaring her- she would be too spooked by his act. He pushs the mask back on the top his head and conjures sunglasses, then walks up to her.]

Look who's running around on such a night like this. Hey, Nodoka. You look cute.

[ She turns and smiles at him - though, to be honest, it looks a little wavering. Gavin told her something that quite upset her, not that she'd admit it. ]

Oh, t-thank you, Crowley-san! You look nice too!

Thanks, but it's really more for show than looking nice.

How have you been doing?

[ Have a Bayonetta wearing this dress, this mask, and these shoes. Oh she can sense you creepin the the darkness, Crowley bb. So... just have her stare and smile in your general direction~ ]

[And he'll take a look at her. Well, if she could kill angels, then it wouldn't be hard for her to kill a demon. So he'll just walk up to her, all friendly-like.]

Stalking the night, Bayonetta?

[ Durrr. She smiles and walks up to Crowley. ]

It's a wonderful night for 'stalking' wouldn't you agree, dear?

[ Polite greeting kisses on cheeks~? :3c ]

[He nods. but he isn't taking that mask off just yet. Go ahead and kiss him, but he won't really return the favor.]

It really is. I've been trying to see if anyone will pass by to give them a scare. It is Hallow's Eve, after all.

[Dante's wandering about, whistling, and decides to cut through an alleyway because hey, what could be lurking about that was big enough to scare him?]

[This guy, of course! Don't look now, but something is grabbing you by the ankles and pulling you backwards, all while the ticking of a clock sounds around you.]

[And can't forget the creepy laughter and voice.] Now now, going somewhere?

[Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Just what were these shenanigans. Pulling himself free, he turns around to meet the trouble maker.]

Well, yes. I was going to get myself something to eat. You're not planning on stopping me now, are you? Because it sure seems like it.

[The troublemaker in question has a mask on that has a rather creepy smile, and twitches with every tick of the clock sounding around him.]

I'm sorry, did you say eat? Because you look like a particularly appetizing meal.

[There are now snakes around your heels, Dante. Have fun with them.]
