New Computer
A new computer has just arrived. I am pleased. It's all shiny and new and /working/, though I don't yet have all the stuff I want installed on it. -
Toronto Pedestrians
Yesterday I wanted to drive over Toronto pedestrians in the hopes that they would, over time, become less insane through natural selection.
Today I realized that their nigh suicidal behaviour is not their fault. They are too used to cars, like bears who become accustomed to humans and thus seek them out. The solution is the same--we need to set ( Read more... ) -

Weekend courses are great to teach. They have a small number of people who were sufficiently confident in themselves that they felt they didn't need the full course. So it's a small room of really sharp people.
