I lol'd at the comments on the ontd site. You know, I was just reading about something stupid one of our ministers said here, but your guy managed to one-up him. I'm not sure how that makes me feel. :|

I'm not sexist; I have daughters! And a wife, and female campaigners! Nor am I a homophobe, for I have a gay cousin!

Honestly, I'm not sure if that really is a one-up; they're equally sad, in different ways! Like, old and new sexism/homophobia/racism/etc. In-your-face, and then this nasty, sneaky kind.
